A meaningful attempt to do something novel in the genre, with a great deal of effort and heart behind it.
Fun game not without it's flaws. Could become something much better. For the price though, it's worth it. My favorite part of the game is the art and style. It's very pretty, consistent, and polished. The game is still in EA but the experience feels complete and satisfying My least favorite part is the reliance on RNG and limited mobility. Depending on where the enemy spawns, and whether or not you have a hill to spawn your units on, the match can go completely differently. Your army completely lacks mobility. While the enemy can move 20+ troops all together in unison, you are limited to only moving a couple units at a time. This makes repositioning impossible, so the only strategy is to turtle and wait for the enemy to come. There's got to be a way to more more units at once, or maybe set a "rally" point for all troops to move towards. The "command your army with pidgeons" is a cool concept but I think there need to be exceptions for basic movement or it needs to be reworked in some way. If the combat is cleaned up more and movement is improved upon, I would spend a lot more time playing!
Even if it wasn't made by a single person this game is really good i liked it makes me feel like a military genius when in reality i'm just selecting the bird and spamming charge ;-;
Game achievements are cringe. I'm not even russian but don't put cringe NAFO/ukraine war memes as achievements. I just want to play a game.
I dunno man.. i tried to love this. It looks good, but the UI is just not intuitive. I compelted the battle tutorial and the dumb thing is still flashing at me to complete it? It's a good concept, just messy. It's still gotta cook in the oven. Until then, it's a nah.

Simple but yet all you want to try out for a small fight from your chair. I hope there will be many updates and an even longer story within this game once it leaves early access.
this game is friggin awesome bro
great early access game, great campain well worth the money! The combat feels right, some balancing and bug fixes would be good but eh its early acces so not blaming anyone. Hoping to see an open world soon!!
I spend more time setting up my formation than fighting the actual battle. I have to manually setup my formation before every battle unless ambushed. There's no auto or save, hell I'd even take a random placement so being ambushed is actually beneficial for me. The gameplay feels unintuitive, my ambushed placements somehow do better than my manual ones. Maybe it's just skill issue but I did not have fun.
