Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 31 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

so cute, just the right level of challenge withour ever getting too stressed out.
I played Winter Burrow last Winter, when it was grey and cold outside. Even though this game takes place in the deepest winter, its so cozy and cute. I really love it and will definitely play it again during the next winter, really helps with being down during winter time. The story was waaaaaaay deeper than i expected and it made me cry more than i'd like to admit. I cannot stress this out enough, the story will hit you deep down where you wont expect it!!! I can completely recommend. I started playing the game with keyboard but i switched to controller and it was no problem at all. Good to know: as you are a mouse living deep into the forest there will be some other animals you will meet, some of which might be spiders but the creators made it possible to switch them out with ants, you can just toggle it in the settings.

Really cute game!
Winter Burrow is a charming survival adventure that takes the familiar pressures of gathering, crafting, and environmental danger and places them inside a much gentler, more personal experience. Developed by Pine Creek Games and published by Noodlecake, the game follows a small mouse returning from the big city to a childhood burrow, only to discover that the once-comfortable home has deteriorated and the aunt who was supposed to care for it has disappeared. This simple premise gives the survival mechanics an emotional purpose, since rebuilding the burrow is as much about reclaiming a home as it is about staying alive. The frozen woodland serves as both a beautiful setting and the primary obstacle. Leaving the safety of the burrow means facing the elements while searching for resources needed for crafting, cooking, and restoration. Insect wildlife adds danger to exploration, preventing the surrounding wilderness from becoming completely harmless. However, the game deliberately avoids the relentless pressure associated with harsher survival titles. Players are encouraged to proceed at their own pace, making exploration feel more like a carefully prepared expedition than a desperate struggle against unforgiving systems. Crafting is closely connected to everyday life. Materials gathered outside can be turned into useful tools and other necessities, but Winter Burrow also embraces activities that reinforce its cozy identity. Knitting warm sweaters and baking pies are practical extensions of survival rather than disconnected minigames. Preparing for another journey becomes part of a comfortable routine in which gathering, crafting, cooking, and returning home naturally feed into one another. Restoring the childhood burrow is one of the most satisfying elements because it provides a visible representation of progress. Instead of simply watching numbers increase or replacing equipment with stronger versions, players gradually transform a damaged home into an inviting living space. Decorating the interior provides additional personalization, while the prospect of eventually relaxing beside the fireplace gives all those trips into the wilderness a meaningful destination. The contrast between the cold outdoors and increasingly welcoming interior is central to the game's atmosphere. The experience also understands that surviving alone would undermine its warmer themes. Other woodland inhabitants can be encountered during the adventure, giving players opportunities to make friends and expand their survival handbook. These relationships help make the world feel inhabited rather than functioning purely as a resource map. At the same time, the disappearance of the protagonist's aunt provides an ongoing mystery. Searching for answers gives exploration a narrative motivation beyond simply finding another supply of crafting materials. Character customization and player choice further support the relaxed philosophy. Rather than demanding one optimized route through its systems, the game allows players to shape their mouse, decorate their home, and pursue a path that better suits their preferred approach. This flexibility is especially appropriate for a cozy survival game because it reduces the sense that every minute needs to be spent maximizing efficiency. There is still progression and danger, but the experience leaves room for simply enjoying the environment and developing the burrow. The hand-drawn visual direction is particularly well suited to the concept. Snow-covered woodland environments, tiny household objects, knitted clothing, food, insects, and the mouse protagonist create something resembling an interactive illustrated storybook. The art helps establish warmth without eliminating the vulnerability of being a tiny creature in a large wilderness. That contrast gives the setting personality and makes returning to the safety of the burrow after an expedition especially satisfying. Its relaxed structure may not appeal equally to everyone. Players who prefer brutal survival mechanics, complicated combat, or constant threats may find its deliberate pacing too forgiving. Resource gathering can also become repetitive in games built around crafting loops, particularly when familiar areas must be revisited. Much of the enjoyment consequently depends on whether the player appreciates slower activities such as gathering supplies, decorating, cooking, knitting, exploring, and gradually improving a home. Steam Deck compatibility is officially rated Playable rather than Verified. The game works with the default controller configuration, displays appropriate controller icons, and its default graphics configuration performs appropriately on the handheld. The main compatibility concern is that some in-game text can be small and potentially difficult to read on the Steam Deck's display. This prevents it from receiving the highest compatibility classification, but otherwise its controller-oriented gameplay and relatively relaxed structure make it naturally suitable for portable sessions. Winter Burrow ultimately stands out because its individual mechanics revolve around a consistent idea of rebuilding a home. Gathering wood or other materials is connected to restoration, warm clothing has practical importance in the winter environment, friendships contribute to surviving and understanding the woodland, and exploration gradually reveals what happened to the missing aunt. Even ordinary survival activities therefore contribute to the broader narrative rather than existing solely because the genre traditionally requires them. The result is a thoughtful combination of cozy life simulation, exploration, crafting, resource management, and accessible survival mechanics. It does not attempt to make survival relentlessly stressful, instead finding satisfaction in preparation, discovery, companionship, and watching a ruined childhood home slowly become comfortable again. Players looking for extreme difficulty may want something harsher, but those attracted to atmospheric exploration and gradual progression should find plenty to appreciate. Winter Burrow offers a warm and distinctive interpretation of survival gameplay, strengthened by its beautiful hand-drawn presentation, meaningful home restoration, enjoyable crafting activities, gentle progression, and underlying family mystery. Its Steam Deck Playable status also makes it a good handheld option, provided the smaller interface text is not an issue. Rating: 9/10
