Reviews
Positive: + Good music + Colorful graphics + Some levels are well designed Negative: - Story is weird - Unfair placement of "special coins" sometimes - Bad power ups, except the bee (and the turtle for world 3) - No attack except jumping on heads - You can't beat a fish? - Enemies look REALLY familiar - Bosses are way too easy with the bee upgrade - Sometimes your way is obscured by the fron layer - You can't continue your savegame after beating the last level to collect more coins Everytime i was beginning to enjoy the game, it threw another bummer at me. I feel like it has some wasted potential. Some things have changed since i last played it, so maybe i will give another shot some day.
Very Quite little game like Mario Bros and great for children. Not diffcult and easy to comprend and navigate. Fun for the entire family!

https://youtu.be/vmQ-1Q-vOGs Nice 2D game, where the little ones of the house will enjoy a lot, giving rein to their imagination, in a world of colorful graphics, funny characters, and good Music.
This game is very poorly optimised and runs at about 10fps on PC that runs much more graphically intense games like Rayman Legends flawlessly.
WILOO is a hand-crafted side-scrolling platform adventure developed and published by lightUP that wears its love for classic platformers openly on its sleeve. From its colorful presentation to its straightforward structure, the game positions itself as a nostalgic journey designed to evoke the feel of older console-era platform games while offering a modern, indie interpretation of that formula. Rather than chasing innovation or genre subversion, WILOO focuses on delivering a familiar, accessible experience built around clear objectives, expressive visuals, and steady progression. The story framing is intentionally simple and lighthearted. Players take control of Wiloo, a cheerful protagonist whose friend has been kidnapped, setting off a journey across multiple themed worlds to rescue them. Narrative beats are brief and functional, serving primarily as motivation rather than a central pillar of the experience. This simplicity works in the game’s favor, keeping the focus squarely on platforming and exploration while still giving the adventure a sense of purpose and charm. The tone remains upbeat throughout, reinforcing the game’s family-friendly and approachable atmosphere. Gameplay adheres closely to traditional 2D platforming conventions. Movement is centered around running, jumping, and careful timing, with levels designed as linear challenges punctuated by enemies, hazards, and collectibles. Across roughly fifty stages divided into several distinct worlds, players encounter increasingly complex layouts that test precision and awareness without becoming overwhelmingly punishing. Checkpoints are generous, allowing players to learn through repetition without excessive frustration. While the mechanics themselves are familiar, the consistency of level design gives the game a reliable rhythm that makes progression feel smooth and intuitive. One of the more distinctive elements of WILOO is its use of animal costumes that grant special abilities. These outfits introduce small variations in movement or defense, encouraging players to experiment and adapt their playstyle depending on the challenges ahead. Although these mechanics are not deeply complex, they add enough variety to prevent the experience from becoming monotonous. Collectibles such as coins and hidden secrets are scattered throughout levels, rewarding exploration and attentiveness, especially for players who enjoy fully clearing stages rather than rushing to the exit. Visually, WILOO adopts a vibrant, cartoon-inspired art style that prioritizes clarity and personality. Environments are colorful and readable, making it easy to identify platforms, hazards, and interactive elements at a glance. Character designs are expressive and friendly, contributing to the game’s overall charm. The aesthetic may not push technical boundaries, but it remains cohesive and appealing, particularly for players drawn to playful, illustrated worlds rather than realism or high-detail visuals. Audio design complements this presentation with an upbeat soundtrack that reinforces the game’s light tone. Music tracks are catchy and energetic, helping maintain momentum during longer play sessions. Sound effects are clear and functional, providing useful feedback for jumps, collisions, and enemy interactions. While audio customization options are somewhat limited, the overall soundscape supports the experience without becoming distracting or repetitive. Difficulty progression in WILOO is designed to be welcoming rather than punishing. Early levels introduce mechanics gradually, while later stages layer hazards and tighter platforming sequences to increase challenge. The balance tends to favor accessibility, making the game suitable for a wide range of players, including those newer to platformers. That said, some completion-focused elements, such as achievement requirements tied to extensive collection, can feel grind-heavy for players seeking full completion rather than casual play. Ultimately, WILOO succeeds by staying true to its modest ambitions. It does not attempt to redefine the platforming genre or overwhelm players with systems and mechanics. Instead, it delivers a sincere, colorful adventure rooted in classic design principles, offering a comfortable and enjoyable journey from start to finish. For fans of traditional 2D platformers who value charm, accessibility, and steady progression over innovation or complexity, WILOO provides a pleasant and nostalgic experience that feels crafted with care and genuine affection for the genre. not a great game but not really bad either, its a good starter game for young ones or something if it's a rainy day and you wanna do some light stress free gaming, there is a remake of it that is better called super wiloo demake even tho it's the same game w upgraded character movement and power ups
the game don't have a beautiful art cover in the steam library. i guess that the developer does never care about it! the original cover does not fit the cover frame at all. it is just a rectangular cover, which is very ugly on the whole! i gave the developer the suggestion, but no reply and no update! i don't understand, why does the game look like Mario without a beautiful art cover? make a similar copy, but copy half! noone care about a final version that is perfect! No Perfect Boutique! update more: the developer is a very stingy person, i added him as a friend, and he deleted me after seeing my suggestions, and blocks me in his profile. he doesn't respond to my suggestions, no change, no update, a beautiful art cover in the game was given up. not fix bugs.
