Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I dont understand the hate. I like the game so far it is a alternative to Monster Hunter so get it if you are a fan of those kinda games.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game not only crashes before I can finish tutorial, it causes my entire pc to completely freeze each time.

I know this game has a lot of problems with performance. The multiplayer can be butts when it comes to connecting with your friends. EA has grossly mismanaged it. But even now in 2026 I can say that I greatly enjoy playing this game. The weapons are fun, the monsters are fun, I think that the storyline and the NPCs are delightful. As someone who's always loved Monster Hunter, I really hope that this delightful competitor gets continued with sequels in the future, hopefully managed better.
not fun, laggy. chasing boss 1 hour then get stunlock and 1shot, skill issue. but also laggy on my specs 1440p60fps. weird.
Wild Hearts, developed by Omega Force (a division of Koei Tecmo) and published by Electronic Arts, is an ambitious and inventive entry in the monster-hunting genre that blends traditional action RPG mechanics with novel systems and rich world-building. Set in the fantastical land of Azuma—a world inspired by feudal Japan but infused with supernatural forces—the game pits players against massive beasts known as Kemono. These creatures are not only titanic in scale but are also fused with the natural elements of the world, shaping both the battlefield and the environmental hazards encountered along the way. While Wild Hearts undeniably draws comparisons to Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise, it carves out a unique identity thanks to its inventive building mechanics, dynamic combat, and strong thematic presentation. At the heart of the game’s innovation lies the Karakuri system, a crafting mechanic that allows players to deploy structures in real-time during combat and exploration. With Karakuri, players can summon walls to block charging enemies, build springboards for evasion, or create devastating contraptions like hammers to stagger massive Kemono. This mechanic offers a significant layer of strategic depth, encouraging experimentation and adaptability rather than relying solely on weapon mastery. The interplay between player movement, Karakuri construction, and each Kemono’s unique behavior elevates every encounter into something more dynamic and reactive than a standard action RPG boss fight. The Karakuri system also extends to traversal, enabling players to build zip lines, launch pads, and other tools to navigate the diverse biomes of Azuma with fluidity and creativity. The game’s setting is a visual and thematic standout. Azuma is segmented into richly varied regions, each shaped by the influence of the Kemono that dwell there. The world constantly reflects the presence of these beasts: vines twist through villages, rivers flood plains, and weather patterns shift depending on the elemental theme of nearby creatures. These visual cues are not merely cosmetic—they serve to contextualize the environmental storytelling and reinforce the connection between the natural world and the monstrous forces that distort it. The seasonal palette, combined with the game’s feudal Japanese art direction and mythical influences, brings a distinct atmosphere that sets Wild Hearts apart from its genre peers. Combat itself is fast-paced and brutal, with a strong emphasis on timing, positioning, and awareness. Players can choose from a range of melee and ranged weapons, each with their own upgrade paths and unique feel. The combat is designed to be accessible yet rewarding for players who master its intricacies, especially when combined with Karakuri tactics. Whether fighting solo or in a three-player co-op mode with seamless crossplay support, battles feel like carefully choreographed duels against nature’s wrath. The multiplayer element is particularly well-executed, with minimal friction in matchmaking and an experience that maintains the same tension and spectacle as single-player hunts. Despite its many strengths, Wild Hearts does struggle with technical issues that can dampen the experience. Performance on PC has been inconsistent since launch, with reports of frame rate drops, texture pop-in, and compatibility problems on certain GPUs, particularly in densely populated areas or during large-scale battles. These problems are less pronounced on consoles, but the optimization across platforms has room for improvement. Additionally, while the narrative establishes a compelling premise about nature’s imbalance and humanity’s struggle to coexist with it, the storytelling itself often takes a back seat to the gameplay. The main plot beats are serviceable, but character development and world lore are delivered in a somewhat shallow or fragmented manner, leaving players to fill in the gaps through environmental observation and side quests. Endgame content is another area where the game begins to show its seams. Although the Kemono roster is large and diverse, and gear crafting remains engaging for a time, the gameplay loop can become repetitive once the initial novelty wears off. Some monsters, despite impressive designs, fall into predictable patterns that reduce the thrill of later encounters. Additional post-launch support, in the form of new creatures or evolving mechanics, would help maintain long-term player interest, but as it stands, Wild Hearts offers a rich experience that may taper off for those seeking hundreds of hours of fresh challenges. In conclusion, Wild Hearts is a bold and thoughtful evolution of the monster-hunting formula. It takes familiar ideas and reimagines them through the lens of Japanese folklore, inventive crafting systems, and meaningful world interaction. While technical setbacks and some shallow storytelling hold it back from true greatness, its moment-to-moment gameplay—especially when facing off against awe-inspiring Kemono—remains thrilling and rewarding. It’s a game that rewards creativity, encourages collaboration, and dares to expand the boundaries of its genre. For players looking for an alternative to more established hunting franchises, Wild Hearts is a refreshingly original and often exhilarating choice. Rating: 6/10
