16GB DDR4 + Ryzen 5 3600 + GTX 1660 - 40fps at best 32GB DDR5 + Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 4070 - 40fps at best 32GB DDR5 + Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5080 - 40fps at best and then you turn off EA launcher overlay + turn off VerticalSync so you get stable 60fps on 5080 now you can admire Switch (not even switch2 im talking about OG switch) level of graphic fidelity
This game looks interesting at 93% off, just completed chapter 1 and planning to play it bit longer because i even play monster hunter. Work fine for me only thing to do is lock fps at 60 I noticed gpu usage 50% only but it's fine until game work properly without any stutter For new commers check this out , work at 30fps for gtx cards and at 60fps for rtx , no other options otherwise game start stuttering even above 100fps Game is good enough to recover your money at sale
TL;DR Game is pretty fun IF you can run it and IF you get it on sale Played quite a bit on PS5 through a game share and enjoyed it so I bought it on here. Pros -Some weapons are cool and fun to learn. There is a weapon that switches between a staff, a single bladed tonfa, a bladed spear, a giant great sword and a giant shuriken (very fun to learn). -Environments are gorgeous if you enjoy the theme of civilization being reclaimed by nature. -Karakuri building is fun and customizable, You can bring whatever karakuri combo that suits the hunt or your playstyle. -The ability to set up a tent anywhere to act as a quick travel point and customizable base of operations is something I wished Monster Hunter Wilds did. -You can set up karakuri structures within the maps to make traversal and material farming easier -Multiplayer is pretty good (if you can get it to work) -The NPC's are quite lovable Cons -Without changing a certain setting in OneDrive, most people can't even play past character customization -Game suffers from poor optimization and stutters in some areas (My PC isn't high end but I can get a consistent 60-72 fps with a few drops here and there) -WHY DID THIS GAME GET PRICED TO $70?! IT DOESN'T EVEN GET SUPPORT ANYMORE (I got it when it was on sale for around $12) -You only start with 3 weapons and unlock the rest when reaching chapter 2 (Most people can't even reach the first kemono hunt) -Some inputs do not have a smooth transition and can lock you into animations unless you force another input (Bladed Wagasa has a lot of these animations that need to be cancelled with the parry) -Camera angle when locked on can be actual CBT -EA game, they abandoned it
Underappreciated Gem! Sadly did not get enough support due to the myriad of issues it launched with and its terrible publisher (EA) Otherwise a great game
So I used to absolutely LOVE this game, I was incredibly invested in the community and was even in the main discord before it got shut down because it was basically dead, I was there to witness the devs try to patch the game's issues...but I just got a new PC and tried running it again. Me and my mate tried playing again, it ran fine for me before and it still runs well for me now. My friend with the same exact specs as me suffers from such immense memory leak issues with this game that within minutes of launching it, the game hard locked his entire PC and corrupted his save file. This game is so unacceptably awfully optimized that it started running progressively worse every patch and they just left it like this to rot because they got their funding cut when they couldn't fix it. I love this IP and wish to see more of it, it was ported to Switch 2 recently I saw. I hope that shows some interest in this IP remains because making this an unoptimized one-off cult classic that can't be ran by a NASA computer is just not the fate this deserves. As it stands however, I simply cannot recommend this game at all to anybody. Do not buy this, even on a sale, only if you own a Switch 2 or PS5 should you buy it on those platforms.
游玩中:My PCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!!!!!
Crashes every time i try to save or an auto save happens i haven't even been able to get past the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial I've spent way too much time trying to fix this don't get this
