Wayhaven Chronicles: Book Three

3/5。主线就和前几部一样写得烂烂的，故事流程一模一样。用词重复太多，基本上就是那几个动词那几个描写。只打这三本倒是还能忍，但作者打算写七本这也太夸张了吧。 nate恋爱线完全是一只摇尾巴的一米九傻乐大狗，甚至还有点自卑感，太萌了。

I need Book Four. Now. How dare you leave me with that cliffhanger. I NEED IT.

Played all three books in a row, for fun and profit. This series is going to be magnificent when it finishes. Morgan, my beloved.

不用动脑子的guilty pleasure，用词非常简单，估计四六级没过也能玩。故事和角色其它评论都说完了，唯一需要注意的是作者打算写七本书，而一本If真的很花费时间，真要写七本的话等完结估计要十年起步，害怕等待长篇大坑的建议避开。

The drama just gets better and better! Can't wait for the next book 😊

Played it more on the phone app and it is very enjoyable.

Big fan of previous two books, not such of this one. And, honestly, don't have much to say about it. Which, in some cases, is even worse than having an outright negative feelings. At least it would indicate that the book somehow affected you. But it is difficult to be affected by something that has so little content. Seriously, I had to replay previous books and change my choices to add at least some details to this book. Because in my first playthrough, when I finished the book, I literally out loud said "That's it?!" So, yeah, had to try and break the character throughout the story to scratch some crumbs of plot. And don't even make me start on the absolute soap bubble of the main 'big bad'. The... Auctioneer. Don't remember their name. Did they have a name? Somebody remember what they looked like? Was there any description at all? I can't remember, really. Murphy from the first book was terrifying. He left an impression. And left the Detective traumatized on all levels. Falk - well, I honestly do not consider him a villain, but he is also memorable. And the Detective has left an impression on him. Jeez, even Bobby, who are not a villain at all - just some minor annoying side character - is much more noticeable than book three main baddie, who are as filler as the whole book. They admit it themselves when we catch them, saying something like 'oh, okay, I prefer it this way, actually, it is that rougue supernatural I'm scared of much more than you, so you're doing me a favor locking me up, lol.' Looks like the whole book was just to announce how terrible that rougue is and that they are coming for us. But we know that already from the previous book, thanks to Falk. Was it really necessary to remind us something without actually giving us any new information on the matter? This book literally added nothing to the plot. I honestly don't see its purpose at all. Will I wait for the book four? Yes. Will I be much more sceptical from now on to the series? Oh, hell yeah. Three out of seven books in, and looks like the author doesn't know already how else to stretch the plot for four more books.

Another absolute banger. 10/10
