They really need to cap ambush spawns. i had 3 people who would hit 1 out of every 4th attacks then during a big fight i get ambushed twice. i think they came 3 turns from each other. how am i expected to fight 8+ enemies as 3-5 more spawn every 3 turns with characters that have x-com like accuracy. ya, sorry i'm not dealing with this crap. if RNjesus decides it, you're parties dead. play 1 but skip this. there are other issues but this is the one that did it for me.
It's not worth $20, it's okay for $5 on sale. Unskippable scrolling text intros should be illegal
I don't know how you can be lazy enough to screw up such a simple concept for a game. Early on it's alright, even if it is a slogging grind, but the more you play the more you are subject to constant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that you have no power to prevent or overcome. Lets just get this over with and get straight to the bad: - Randoms spawns: There is no limit or pattern to these in dungeons. They can drag on a quick dungeon run meant to make some gold to a stupidly long length. Worse, they can chain back to back every turn. The monsters that spawn can be anything from rats, to end game monsters that can and will one-shot your characters, making the freaking 45 minutes you just spent in the dungeon completely wasted and then cripple you going forward. These needed serious level balance, and should be limited to one per room or a number per dungeon. - Random encounters: Like the random spawns, you can get a random encounter against any number of end game monsters early on in the game, and be limited to only one or two heroes to face them. You will lose, you will be penalized, and you can't do anything about it. In the rare chance that you get some powerful gear early on that gives you a fighting chance, random spawns will still trigger during this encounter to make extra sure you're screwed over. - Monster balance: Non-existent after the first hour or two of the game. Monsters quickly scale to have high resistance, high hp, and high damage output, and we're talking about basic swarm monsters not elites or bosses. A random spawn of pox rats can shred a party to pieces because they deal greatsword damage for no reason. - Objectives: This is probably the most idiotic element in the game. Most dungeons have objective markers that you have to reach to complete the dungeon. If they worked as advertised it would be great because you would actually have a chance of bypassing impossibly battles. BUT, they don't work if there are any surviving enemies left on the map. So wtf is the point of having an objective marker if you have to kill every enemy anyway? Remember that one bat you ran past at the start of the dungeon? Congrats, you're back tracking the whole damn way to kill it now, one turn at a time, four spaces at a time, in a dungeon where every room takes 10-12 spaces to cross. These issues, mixed with game content being locked behind pay walls on phones, are stupidly easy to fix, but nothing has been done about them making it obvious that the developer has completely abandoned any notion of updates. Don't waste your time, and definitely don't buy anything else from Perchang because I promise that Silver Tower is ass too.
very disappointed. extremely hard enemies. movement blocks are not color coated as they are in WQ1. this game is not as good as WQ1
wont load past splash screen devs not responding.

White-hammer Ok so being an old school fan of games workshop citadel miniatures this game provided me with some casual strategy dungeon crawling before bed! (I used it to go to sleep) & to the credit of its game construction was actually a pretty well balanced game & kept me playing (but mostly sleeping- game time!) ..even if the story is the extreme opposite! (very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unimaginative) considering the creatures and lore where already made the plot is dullard to non-existent & makes generic (pre silicon chip) IBM algebra look like a fantasy master stroke of the imagination! So the more I played this the more I started to notice the exclusive bias of its creation, looking into it I see that it was not so much A lack of diversity but a week and thinly veiled exclusion of all but the whitest of humanoid characters by the games lure ..AHUM(cacophonous coughing) I mean lore!;) still at least the land they built is fantasy Rrrrright??? yeeeeeNO! Ive seen naked celebz less thinly veiled! So what do these pale “adventurers” do? Huh? Well they create an amicable swaith of blood shed across their (totally made up and not poorly shoe horned) fantasy land of “Reikland” destroying the chaos, wich I did enjoy the art for almost cartoonish plague creatures & scaven, matched with what becomes generic repetition with 'replace enemy name here' description story filler! wow what a revelation of retardation anyone else for a back amble across the very very 'plains'!?? I miss real games workshop with its devotion to actual fantasy not this f#88ing BS!
I recommend it, but only if you have a good tolerance for grind and unnecessary unbalanced shenanigans. Still, it can be a fun little run.
If you go into the game knowing what it is, wanting to play the game that it is, it is an enjoyable game. It is a mobile port and can be very grindy. If it is available at a low cost and you want a dungeon crawler to occupy 10 hours it's a fun experience. If you want a full triple A game, pay for that and play it.
The big thing that lets this game down is that even when you have a battle in outside (like a forest) the battle map is in a cave (when when there are no caves around!) which is totally immersion-breaking. And there aren't any mods on Steam (nor anywhere else that I can find for PC). If they fixed that this would be an okay game.
