Great strategy game with plenty of variety.
It's such a shame this game is no longer supported on steam, meaning only people who already have it can play it, and now the DLC is no longer available either, so those like myself who don't own it will never get the chance to try it out.
Sad to see this one go away, it's got a great foundation and what it offers is very cool, if a bit different than typical Dungeons & Dragons SRPGs... Once it warms up there's a very addictive and fun game which will keep you playing for more and more upgrades, finding new items and progressing in the interesting story and quests. Def didn't deserve to die but if you are lucky and own the game it's def worth a play. Cheers all thanks for reading!

Love this game. Simple to learn and easy to get into for a few minutes of get away time. I wish they had continued with digitizing the other board games in this series too.
Tomb of Annihilation," the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons adventure module penned by the creative mind of Chris Perkins, invites players to embark on a thrilling and perilous expedition into the heart of the mysterious jungle peninsula of Chult. This review delves into the key aspects that make this module a captivating and unforgettable experience. Narrative Mastery (5/5): Perkins weaves a compelling narrative around the enigmatic "Death Curse," a malevolent force that disrupts the balance of life and death. Players find themselves entangled in a quest that seamlessly blends exploration, mystery, and a sense of urgency. The overarching storyline is both engaging and evocative, providing a solid foundation for the adventurers' journey through the perilous jungles of Chult and into the foreboding Tomb of Annihilation. Dynamic Setting (4.5/5): Chult itself emerges as a character in the narrative, a vibrant and treacherous environment teeming with exotic flora and fauna. The hex-crawl exploration system adds an element of unpredictability, enhancing the immersive experience. However, some Dungeon Masters might find it challenging to manage, requiring a careful balance to maintain player engagement without overwhelming them with the vastness of the jungle. Creatures and Challenges (4.5/5): The module introduces a diverse array of creatures and challenges, each contributing to the atmosphere of danger and discovery. From undead horrors to unique jungle hazards, players face a myriad of foes that keep the gameplay fresh and unpredictable. The "Death Curse" introduces a time-sensitive element, adding a layer of tension and strategic decision-making to the adventure. Dungeon Design (5/5): The Tomb of Annihilation itself stands as a pinnacle of dungeon design. Complex traps, intricate puzzles, and formidable adversaries create an immersive and challenging experience for players. The Tomb's foreboding atmosphere and lore make it a memorable and climactic conclusion to the adventure. Flexibility and Adaptability (4/5): "Tomb of Annihilation" strikes a good balance between a structured narrative and the flexibility to adapt to different playstyles. Dungeon Masters have room to tailor the experience to their group, but some may find the need for additional preparation to seamlessly integrate player choices and maintain a cohesive narrative flow. Conclusion: "Tomb of Annihilation" is a triumph in D&D adventure design, offering a captivating storyline, a rich and dynamic setting, and challenging gameplay. Chris Perkins' narrative prowess shines through, providing both new and seasoned players with an epic and unforgettable journey. While the module may pose some challenges in terms of jungle exploration and adaptability, its strengths far outweigh any minor concerns. For those seeking a thrilling and immersive adventure, "Tomb of Annihilation" is an absolute must-play.
GOOD
As others have mentioned, the game is off Steam because the license has expired...not a bad thing. The DLC were total BS. Buying resources and a 5th character that should have been included. Well, f**k you, because I don't need a druid and wrote a script to farm coin when I was napping. I can cheat, too! How do you like those apples, eh d!ckweeds? It was amusing for a bit, but was found to be repetitive and got to the end mostly by luck...little to no skill required. The whole thing reminded me of prepping for a colonoscopy. Only wrote this in the hopes that no one goes over to gog to buy this pile of canine excrement. Have a nice day!
A fairly simple dungeon(jungle)-crawl board game, but fun. Can be played in short periods, so a nice option for busy adults. Superior to the actual D&D board games because of how you can improve character equipment.
