I've played this on both 360 and PS4 before, so when it went on sale it was a no brainer. Once I got to playing again I remembered why I put so many hours into it. The game runs well, even on an older machine like mine. Graphics are sharp as a tack. Character models, weapons, enemies, levels, everything looks great! Most of it is based on actual models or artwork from GW so a lot of it looks very familiar. Get into combat and blood, heads and limbs fly everywhere! Skaven being chopped down in droves, warpstone bullets zooming about, It looks amazing! Sound is great as well. The characters chat and bicker with each other. Even though thy're AI (If you're playing without friends) they feel so much like a real party. A group of unlikely comrades forced to work together for the survival of both themselves and the world at large. Voice acting is spot on. Each player hero is steeped in character and has loads of spoken lines, a lot of which change depending on the character they're addressing. Weapon impacts sound solid and painful. Gunshots and Skaven squeaks all adding another load of immersion. The level up system is different and probably puts new players off when they find that killing Skaven actually does nothing. They are simply an obstacle to be removed. They don't provide EXP. You only get EXP when you complete a level which also nets you some loot, the rarity of which can be enhanced by upping the difficulty and grabbing collectables in game. You get new weapons and accessories but your actual character does not improve. Basically, you need to get good. I mentioned the levels, of which there are many. Each has its own charm and feel and sometimes come with additional objectives. This doesn't happen much at first but the later levels will be asking you to throw explosive barrels at pillars or carrying sacks of grain to a point on the level while under near constant attack. This level variation is a good thing in theory. Unfortunately it also leads to the biggest issue I have with the game. The AI. It sucks. Big style. This is a team game like Left for Dead. You can play with up to 3 friends, which I assume is how the game was meant to be played, or if you don't have enough players to fill your party of four, the rest will be played by bots. As a team based game you need to work together, covering each others backs and helping with objectives. On early levels where you're just running around trying to get to the end it's not a problem. The bots will sort of follow you and will defend themselves when attacked. They also heal and sometimes use items. Sadly, when trying to do more complex objectives they are worse than useless. They don't pick up items that need to be carried, they don't protect you while you're doing an objective. They just run around aimlessly hacking at the enemy. This in itself wouldn't be an issue except they don't prioritise watching your back or aiding you at all. For example, in one level I'm carrying a barrel which will explode if I get hit. I can drop it and fight the enemy and carry on but ideally I need someone behind me to make sure I'm not hit in the back and perhaps two in front to clear the way. Where are the bots? Miles away just fighting some random pack of enemies. They don't assist at all. They don't even stay close. Instead just hacking away until the group of enemies they're focused on is dead which is no use when I need to get 8 barrels from one side of the level to another and the enemies constantly respawn. With other human players all carrying barrels or defending those that have them this mission can be a breeze, but the bots make it more like a tedious slog. It gets worse though as the bots will split up so they are easily taken down by special enemies (Like the Gutter runner who pins you down until another hero gets them off, or the Slaver, who grabs you and drags you away to your death unless another hero intervenes). They also have a tendency to fall off ledges in certain levels and need another player to pull them up. Otherwise they die. So you have to do all this fetching and carrying, on your own while at the same time keeping an eye on the bots and making sure they don't die because if they do you risk being totally overwhelmed. This could have been avoided somewhat if you had a bit of control over them. A simple "Protect me" "Attack this target" "Pick up this item" system would have been fine. There is even a ping button you can use to highlight things but they decided not to give you that level of control in case it made the game too easy. Apparently there is a mod you can download to help a little but its still not great. I don't like using mods. I prefer to play the game as was intended so I can do an unbiased review. Its a real shame. I really like this game. I'm big into Warhammer and playing this really felt like it was made with a lot of love. Its very immersive and incredibly satisfying when you finally start to smash through easier levels without breaking a sweat. There is so much right about this game. I definitely can't dispute that. Its just a bit frustrating that a lot of the difficulty comes not from the enemies being harder but the awkwardness and sometimes outright stupidity of the AI that is alongside you leading to failed missions and some of the harder ones being an absolute chore to play through. I don't mind getting killed, but if I'm being hindered by my own AI team then that becomes a real problem. Overall I do have a very positive opinion of it and I'd certainly recommend it. Especially if you're a Warhammer fan. You'll find plenty to enjoy for your first few hours and is even better with a group of mates. If you decide to try the harder levels with AI, Well, Don't say I didn't warn you!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Warhammer : End Times - Vermintide │★★★★★ The game is a co-op action title for four players that resembles Left 4 Dead. While the similarities are clear, like surviving tough odds and facing specialized 'boss' enemies, Vermintide sets itself apart with a focus on a more brutal and physical combat system. Melee combat dominates. The weapons feel heavy and require skill to use effectively, from managing stamina for blocks to executing powerful charged attacks. This combat system rewards players for their skill and understanding of enemy types. However, this emphasis on a challenging combat system comes with a steep learning curve and a high difficulty level. The game's progression relies on its loot system, which gives out random gear after each successful mission. This can lead to a long and sometimes tedious grind for better equipment, especially on lower difficulties where the best gear is hard to come by. It's a system meant to keep you engaged, but it can feel like a chore at times. The AI bots, meant to fill your team when human players are unavailable, often cause more trouble than help. They tend to get stuck, fail to react to special enemies, and make poor choices, making solo play frustrating. Vermintide truly requires a team of human players for full enjoyment. It feels like a different game—much more enjoyable—when you have a complete party of people to communicate with. The game's atmosphere stands out. Fatshark has done a great job of capturing the dark, gothic style of the Warhammer Fantasy world. The levels are well-crafted and rich in grim details, and the constant chittering and squeaking of the Skaven creates a sense of ongoing unease. The characters, while not deeply developed, have engaging banter that adds personality to the game. Ultimately, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is a strong game, but it may not suit everyone. It offers a hardcore co-op experience best suited for players willing to invest time in learning its systems and able to play with friends. If you can handle the grind and are ready for a tough and bloody fight, you’ll find a lot to enjoy. But if you’re seeking a casual, drop-in-and-out experience, you might want to look for something else.
beautiful environments. makes me wish for a more quest-single-player game in this style
A more well thought out game than the second one with strategic enemy placement and level design. The action is good and the difficulty is just perfect on Cataclysm since it requires teamwork and excellent communication. A wonderful game! Kerillian obviously is love, she is life and the best part of Vermintide <3
Did not age well just like L4D2
Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide —

Weapon goes woosh. Bad guy dead. Very small but good. Keep it up my ♥♥♥♥♥♥s.
Bots annoying as hell and not way to turn them off or choose what bots come on mission and no MODs to fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
