Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition

Great game. Although it is a bit expensive its worth it to buy when the time comes.

Leider passt da vermutlich was mit dem Treiber nicht. Mit einer 7900XTX bekomme ich nur eine Auslastung der Grafikarte von ca. 10% und das sind dann bei 4K Auflösung gerade mal 13 FPS...somit nicht spielbar...schade ich hätte mich schon sehr auf die Story gefreut!

My first game in the WH40K universe! Bought on sale for $10. About 10 hours long for me, played on Hard. Surprising cinematic moments and compelling performances from the voice actors. Henry Cavill would definitely be great in this universe, and I hope the show is awesome. A lot of stuttering throughout the game on my Xbox Ally X. 1080p/60 FPS, max settings, but seemed to peak at about 50% CPU/GPU utilization. Taking VRAM off of Auto helped with the stutters. It looks like there are workarounds, and I’m seeing that modern multi-core processors actually overwhelm the game compared to the hardware it was made for, but I think that should have been addressed in a 2025 remake. What I believe are scan lines were also clearly visible throughout; I played without V-Sync and with VRR. I still had fun, and I’d just barely recommend it on sale. Fun entry point into this universe for me. It looks like Anniversary Edition has great reviews.

Deutsche Synchro ist absoluter Mist. Ton asynchron. Schatten sind komplett verbuggt, aber es gibt auch kaum Optionen, mit denen man es vielleicht fixen könnte. Alles in allem ein unglaublich schlechtes Remaster.

loving the game it is so nostalgic playing this game again, the only complain is that no one is playing online

Feels like a lazy cash grab. Would have slayed if remastered using the Space Marine 2 engine with SM2 controls and mechanics, or even as a SM2 DLC. Remastered using the SM2 engine AND adding some enemies to the long empty bombed out corridors would have been chef's kiss. No tangible difference between this and the anniversary edition. If you don't have the anniversary edition, grab this on a Steam 75% off sale and enjoy a pleasant diversion for a few hours. Mechanics are different enough that you'll die trying to parry when the SM2 parry mechanic isn't present, so be ready for that.
