Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition

Game was super fun to play on the steam deck. Would recommend getting it when on sale.

Great game played the original version so this ones also a 10/10

Thought I liked the original game, this "Master Crafted Edition" is a big joke, it's true the game is more beautiful, models are betters, textures are gorgeous (thought I heard many people complaining about Orks color, it didn't bothered me tbh) and effects are still kinda cool... But that's the only good point I can give, I don't know why they move the weapon selection from the D-Pad to this combination of holding LB and choosing with the left stick (that's stupid and it broke movements), at some points the game lag/stuttered like a Mechanicus Adept who didn't received any update since the Siege of Terra and I had to do manipulation at the edge of witchcraft to make it run normally again (closing/reopening Steam, putting command -dx11 or -dx12 to start the game, deactivating GeForce Experience and Steam overlay...) thought I don't have a potato PC (I can run Space Marine 2 in Ultra). Some issue I had that I didn't see anywhere, is that sometimes cinematics ran but characters supposed to be here aren't... like Mira, Drogan or Leandros (on this side, I would say this is a pros more than a cons, thought I still hear him). 40€ for this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scam I don't recommend it a this price (nor at any price tbh, just play the original) but I had it a 10€, I bought it thinking "it can't be that bad" when I read many negative reviews... I was wrong. It's a lazy, cash-grab remaster. PS: Another pros (if you can call that a pros), Blood Ravens finally gave back their DLC that they stole from the Anniversary Edition. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Même si j'avais adoré le jeu original, cette "Master Crafted Edition" est une grosse blague, c'est vrai le jeu est plus beau, les modèles sont mieux, les textures sont superbes (même si j'ai entendu beaucoup de gens râler sur la couleur des Orks, ça ne m'a pas dérangé pour être honnête) et les effets sont toujours sympa... Mais ce sont les seuls bons points que je peux donner, je ne sais pas pouquoi ils ont bougé la selection des armes de la croix directionnelle a cette combinaison de tenir LB et choisir avec le stick droit (c'est stupide et ça casse les mouvements), a certains moment le jeu s'est mis a ramer comme un adepte du Mechanicus qui n'aurait pas reçu de mise a jour depuis le Siege de Terra et j'ai du faire des manipulation digne de sorcellerie pour que ça marche normalement (fermer/rouvrir Steam, mettre les commandes -dx11 ou -dx12 au démarrage, désactiver l'overlay de GeForce Experience et de Steam...) pourtant je n'ai pas un PC pourri (je peux faire tourner Space Marine 2 en Ultra). Un autre problème que j'ai eu mais que je n'ai vu nulle part d'autre, est que dès fois pendant des cinématiques des personnages qui devaient apparaitre n'étaient pas la... comme Mira, Drogan or Leandros (pour lui, je dirais plutôt que ce serait plus un point positif que négatif, même si je l'entends toujous). Pour conclure, 40€ pour ça, c'est une putain d'arnaque, je ne le recommande pas du a ce prix (ni a n'importe quel prix d'ailleurs, juste jouer a l'original) mais je l'ai eu a 10€, je l'ai acheté pensant "ça ne peut pas être si mauvais" après avoir lu tant de notes négatives... j'ai eu tord. C'est une remaster feignant, juste pour essayer de gratter un peu plus de fric. PS: Autre point positif (si on peut appeler ça comme ça), c'est que les Blood Ravens ont enfin rendus le DLC qu'ils avaient volés à l'"Anniversary Edition".

It's a fun but short game, worth to buy it if it's in a sale or something, without rushing it took me almost 7h to finish the whole campaign, I'm not interested in multiplayer, so this is where I'll drop the game.

Finished the game on hard in 13 hours. Didn't play any other Warhammer games before this. Decent story line, decent graphics. I paid $10 for it and it was about right. IDK how anyone in their right mind would pay the full $40 for this.

Meh.. nic moc na 2011 hru.. totalni odpad na 2025 remaster za 40e.. za ty prachy by si to zaslouzilo remake a mohlo to byt obstojne. Mechanicke chyby. Nic moc gameplay. Nevyvazenost... 10e v akci je furt moc za todle utrpeni.

An old classic, a must-play for those looking to get into the Warhammer 40K. Fans of the universe would have probably already played this by now. FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!
