Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 20 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have never played anything this bad. It's actually atrocious. Controls are unresponsive, gameplay shudders and freezes constantly. This game is just a disgrace. Camera angle launches around at random. How is this even released? No patch or improvements in sight either apparently. Take the general consensus on this and do not buy it.
Couldn't get the game to launch on my PC. After getting my refund the Anniversary Edition went on sale the next week. Had no issues with the Anniversary Edition. Don't waist your money or memory space on this version, get the Anniversary Edition!

Very enjoyable action game, short and sweet. I was never sold on the idea of the space marine super-hero action game, since the idea of the WH40K is a really slow moving guy with really heavy armor and weapons. In terms of the "remaster", it worked really well for me from start to finish. There was one crash in one cinematic in 10 hours, and I don't recall any bug or glitch worth mentioning. The graphics are pretty good, although probably not a big jump from the original. There is no upscaling support and not much in the way of graphics options, but it looks pretty good and ran well on my PC. The game manages to stay more or less faithful to that idea of the Astartes while at the same having really fun dynamics. The jump pack is absolutely glorious, a true super-hero moment, worth every dollar of the price and every minute played. Other than that, it's not sophisticated, I mean you know what you came for: this is a super-super-human guy who really doesn't skip leg day and sees big enemy monsters as walking little health potions. It was not very hard. But that wasn't the point. And it didn't overstay its welcome either.
The bad reviews for this don't make a lick of sense. This is literally just Space Marine with a bit of spitshine added on, looks great and still plays great. Pick it up when its on sale for a classic Warhammer 40k game experience.

Terrible stuttering not even playable anymore
Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine is an iconic game. The Anniversary Edition was dialed in for a remaster, This version, Master Crafted Edition, doesn't do much for those that already own the Anniversary Edition. It does improve the interface and a big one for me, 4k resolution allows me to stretch it across my big 39x9 resolution monitor while still looking like it was meant to. Peoples' disappointments stim from expectations of a full remake or vastly improved remastered version over what was already available, which this is not. This is the superior edition available, but it is not worth the money over the anniversary edition unless you have a large 4k+ monitor or don't won the anniversary edition already. I have not experienced any crashes or game breaking bugs at all. This is a well done edition, just not what it should have been.
fun!!! but this is the only way you can play space marine 1 now since they purposely destroyed the original version in its anniversary update
Runs like randy pitchford himself wrote the graphics pipeline.
Just in case anyone is struggling with constant crashes -> if you go to Screen Adapter settings /advanced graphic settings on your desktop you should be able to lower your fps rate , if it's over 100 /200 you're gonna get crashes but if you set it for 60 fps it should work for certain areas where it crashes , overall not a bad game would recommend to those who have played space marine 2 if they want to get a bit more lore like who Leandros is etc
