Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

We are spoiled with good tactical games in the 40k setting with chaos gate and this game, mechanicus. I played both this year (2025) and both are great games if you don't know much about 40k and fantastic if you enjoy the setting. Soundtrack & ambience are awesome. Considering the heavy discount this games goes by now and considering how well it holds up after these years this is an easy recommend.
Pros Good climat Fantastic music Fun tech priests customisation you can do a lot of powerfull combos Cons It is boring, the quests are very similar Too easy - tech priest become too powerfull, you can take out boss before his activation without any special build The progress in this game is very random - i have finished it but i did not unlock all units and weapons. In general i would say it is solid game. I strongly recomend putting at least hard mode (i have been playing ironman but i never wanted to load game to the previous point) on the first (and propably last) try.
X-COM but 40K themed. Great gameplay, mechanics, OST and insane atmosphere
AAA
Good. Played it after chaosgate daemon hunter and xcom, so it's not as good but it scratch the itch.

I enjoyed this more than I imagined it would have. Its not quite the "Xcome-like" as many say; the combat and damage mechancis are much more interesting and there's much less cover/movement mechanics than XCOM, I do feel its very much its own game. The weapon damage type, resource mehcnaics, upgrades and weapons are all very straight forward systems but there's many mix and match combos that allows you to really build your own playstyle/characters. Level design is very good and the bosses are all different and interesting, no HP sponges that feel boring to play against. If you're debating this or the Grey Knight's Chaos Gate game, this is easily the superior (and probably best) 40K tactical game. Certainly better than any of the Space Hulk games I've played in the past.
