Why does this game look like utter ♥♥♥♥♥ even at max settings? Like no anti aliasing what so ever?
...man. Coming from Van Helsing Final Cut (VHFC for short) to this is just plain brutal. Five hours in and the maps are straight up boring; exploration is completely non existent, instead built around the "endgame" activity of instance based maps and build the campaign from there, and worse, they all look the same; I already missed the desert map that served as the tutorial. I'm not too familiar with the Warhammer IP at all so everything comes off edgy just for being edgy but I don't mind that as the maps themselves already pose a big enough problem for me to care. Difficulty scaling is also straight up outdated with damage scaling to level difference system that renders every battle to be dragged out just for the sake of difficulty while also nullify any sense of power progression. Seems like this is their answer to the issues of VHFC's balance, but cutting every damage to single digit? That ain't it. Really, the only improvements I've seen compared to VHFC is that it has better progression? Skill trees are now organized, and they unfold as you progress through the campaign and complete achievements. But that's about it, action still felt rather limp, much like VHFC, which feels at odds to the grittiness of the IP. VHFC's weaknesses are at least helped with the variety of maps, rewarding exploration through secrets and side-quests, and funny dialogue. None of said charms exist in this game I'm afraid.

GG!! Fun Game!!!
