Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Jul 23 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

if it didnt cost literally almost 200 dollars for the full game it would be peak
Can't recommend the game due to DLC pricing policy. They took worst from Paradox and Sega Total War series games DLC practice without providing Paradox or Sega quality. Base game is cheap, I either purchased it on discounts or received for free. Can't remember now. I ran introduction and, oh boy... By screenshots I expected it to be Panzer/ Fantasy General game series. But it turned out to be just another Civ like game (reminded Alpha Centauri), or better say Warlock / Endless Legends kind of games. It has some tactical part, but still not Fantasy General. Resources are abundant, game strategy is "kill'em all / capture all flags". They have heroes, somewhat technichal tree, etc. I played intro for around 5 hours. Basically for 2 reasons - didn't know some mechanics (and oh boy, their tutorial is messy and hints are not actually helping) and I wanted to try every possible aspect of the game at least for Marines. From positive side, game do have tactical part and your army mix influence the game. But, I just had 3 heroes, basic marines, heavy troops and tanks and that solved everything. And I was not even past Tech level 4. I don't know what game should look like for me to reach Tech level 9. Now I look at DLC.. and they are priced at 56x times of the price I paid for original game . I am just not there. Uou put 90% on original game on every sale event, but your DLCs are at most 10% sale. Considering this is 2018 year hame, that sounds like a joke to me.
TLDR- Besides all the DLC It's a really fun game that is like Civ without all the extra governance and is all out constant war I got this game when it was free during the WH:SKULLS event. It's almost like Civilization made a WH40k game. It is turned base, has resource management, tile building, a research tree, and a ton of fighting. It does not go as far as Civ does with government, trading, alliances, unit upgrades, and age progression. You land on Gladius Prime with a few units and and do your best to survive against nature and the opposing factions, found a home base, build a few buildings inside of it, start pumping out units and get ready for constant war. Each faction plays differently, some are easier to play than others, but everyone is deadly in their own way. You start off with Space Marines(Adeptus Astartes), Imperial Guard(Astra Militarum), Orks(Greenskin Boyz), and Necrons(Soulless Xenos). A lot of content is locked behind DLC and I dont agree with it, but I am more willing to buying some of them on sale since i got the game for free. Adeptus Mechanicus is a good choice if you can learn to use then correctly, the Adeptus Astartes have a DLC specifically for them that has some pretty overpowered units, but there is a way too much locked behind paywalls. I guess that's just how GW works.
I am having a lot of fun with this game. It "feels" a lot like Warhammer 40k, having a hive city surrounded on all sides by orks and necrons as the grim dark music plays and my guardsman die horribly.
computer knows where you are at all times and the fog of war makes it so you can only see at best two hexes away so get used to every enemy hiding just outside your range of view
Game is fun, that being said...10 to 15 dollars per pack to unlock the full experience is ridiculous. 150 for full game? yea ill pass. i hate this model and will never support it. i might get it on a deep discount. but not full price.
