Built on the legacy of Vermintide 2’s best-in-class melee combat, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introduces intense WH40K gunplay to the mix. Master the balance between ranged and melee combat as you fight through a slew of enemies. Feel the impact of each swipe, swing, and slice of a chainsword, or fry some flesh with a lasgun.
Darktide is a co-op game. Wandering too far, risks punishment by foes looking to immobilize or capture stray Rejects, such as the slavering Chaos Hound or the Moebian Trapper. Once you fall prey to such foes, only your teammates can save you! More than that, your innate toughness – your determination to press on through the pain – only recharges when you are in the proximity of your strike team.
Create your own, unique character and customize their physical appearance, voice, and origin. Choose your class to determine which unique traits and skill sets they will make use of in battle. Will you be a seasoned veteran of the Imperial army, a snarky outsider, or a fiery zealot? The choice is yours.
Step into the violent, dystopian world of Warhammer 40,000. From boiling hot industrial factories to the decaying water maintenance zone afflicted by constant acid rainfall - Tertium Hive is a hard and unforgiving place even at the best of times. Your role is to serve the zealous Inquisition by embarking on missions to exterminate the threats lurking in the depths of the hive city, or die trying.
Adapt to the erratic whims of Chaos with conditions- mutators that add a spontaneous challenge to your mission. Your team must learn to adjust, adopt new tactics and change up their loadouts to face these ruthless challenges.

Uninstalling this game is akin to the experience of pulling teeth. No game folder, no way to browse the local install folder, and it is constantly trying to force update despite not existing on my PC. Fix your game before you sell it.

Excellente reprise du concept de Left For Dead dans l'univers de Warhammer 40K. Appreciable de joué autre choses que les Space Marines (que j'adore) et permet de mettre en avant l'Astra Militarum... C'est beau, le gameplay est excellent, possibilités de theory craft (sans que se soit trop prise de tête) Un B.O bien brutasse. Le feedback des combats est top, mettre des patates de forin avec un gros marteau pour attendrire la barbac, miam miam... Le systeme de synthonie est pas mal, ca permet dans les parties d'avoir des synergies intéressante et d'avoir des team plus ou moins completes en fonction de nôtre façon de joué. Note importante (et valable pour tout types de jeux similaires), quand on monte en niveau de difficulté, mieux vaut resté groupir, ben sinon tu creve comme un con si tu prends pour le ou la super guerriere du jeu (Karma). Fan également de la série Vermintide le 1 et le 2, on sent le respect du "produit" de base sans prendre les joueurs pour des idiots. Un excellent défouloir. Ce que j'aimerais bien voir c'est également dans ce type de jeu, en ce qui concerne les forces du Chaos, de diversifié un peu... Ca ne m'empeche pas d'apprecier le jeu et clairement ce jeu, aussi bien pour les fans de Warhammer et les joueurs et joueurs qui aiment les jeux de bourrin et de défoncé les forces du Chaos.
Game has no story. Your just a random prisoner going though Randomly generated dungeons. After about 3 hours you'll have done all the maps and content. You can probably squeeze a solid 30-100 hours levelling up the 4 classes but you'll have experience all the maps before max level one of your characters. So many microtransactions for skins and other non useful cosmetic crap. Get it if you like 40k but don't expect it to be like Vermintide. You are no one and you will be happy with it.
