About

Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series.
In the depths of the hive, the seeds of corruption threaten to turn into an overwhelming tide of darkness. A mysterious and sinister new force is seeking to take control of the entire city. It is up to you and your allies in the Inquisition to root out the enemy before the city succumbs to Chaos.
As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise.

Built on the legacy of Vermintide 2’s best-in-class melee combat, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introduces intense WH40K gunplay to the mix. Master the balance between ranged and melee combat as you fight through a slew of enemies. Feel the impact of each swipe, swing, and slice of a chainsword, or fry some flesh with a lasgun.

Darktide is a co-op game. Wandering too far, risks punishment by foes looking to immobilize or capture stray Rejects, such as the slavering Chaos Hound or the Moebian Trapper. Once you fall prey to such foes, only your teammates can save you! More than that, your innate toughness – your determination to press on through the pain – only recharges when you are in the proximity of your strike team.

Create your own, unique character and customize their physical appearance, voice, and origin. Choose your class to determine which unique traits and skill sets they will make use of in battle. Will you be a seasoned veteran of the Imperial army, a snarky outsider, or a fiery zealot? The choice is yours.

Step into the violent, dystopian world of Warhammer 40,000. From boiling hot industrial factories to the decaying water maintenance zone afflicted by constant acid rainfall - Tertium Hive is a hard and unforgiving place even at the best of times. Your role is to serve the zealous Inquisition by embarking on missions to exterminate the threats lurking in the depths of the hive city, or die trying.

Adapt to the erratic whims of Chaos with conditions- mutators that add a spontaneous challenge to your mission. Your team must learn to adjust, adopt new tactics and change up their loadouts to face these ruthless challenges.

For the Emperor! If you get this game on sale, it's very worth it and pairs well with Space Marine 2. The general feel and mobility of Darktide is arguably better too (though this is definitely a matter of preference). The weapons also feel fun and varied--there is arguably a limited amount of meta choices but the design of the enemies is such that skill and teamwork really does allow you to play whatever you feel is most fun. The classes are also very solid. Want to be an inquisitorial stormtrooper? A fanatic monk with a two handed sword? Or a psyker? Or Judge Dredd? All doable and a few more besides. Now, some of the negatives: the "campaign" is not complete, and the devs do add to this but slowly. Currently, the war to purge the heretics is stuck on limbo after the latest mission. Enemy and mission variety could also be better, but the game's main joy is working as a close knit strike team. This leads to the next issue, which has nothing to do with the devs: the average team is far worse at team cohesion in Darktide than in Space Marine 2 even though team work is even more crucial. Perhaps this is just lore accurate, self serving inquisitorial rejects getting each other killed :'( So get your friends together and form a squad you can actually trust. There are also fair complaints about the cosmetic system. The cost to buy any cosmetics is quite high, and the dlc cosmetics CYCLE in and out of availability with no way to predict to encourage a buy-while-you-can mentality. HOWEVER, the gear that you get just by completing the campaign is solid enough--as least for the veteran class. And I almost forgot: the soundtrack is epic. For the Emperor (and maybe the Omnissiah too).
y ya le clave 21 horitas, lo venimos jugando con lo pibe, y la estamos pasando muy bien, si no sos cagon lo podes jugar, ahora si te haces caca en los calzones no es problema mio.

I tried Vermintide 2 before but I didn't like the era of that game. I really like Darktide compared to Vermintide. This game's progression is kinda slow, I stopped for a week or two after purchasing this game but I decided to try it again. Some hours later and I am completely hooked. This is the 2nd Warhammer game I like next to Space Marine. The music is amazing and the sounds are awesome as well. I can see myself trying out new DLCs or new classes soon. I'm not sure if the optimization in this game is bad. I get stutters but it's probably the bottleneck lol

This remains a coop horde/tide fighting game of the highest caliber, despite the development/balance issues plaguing a plurality if not majority of items. Just don't rush into buying dlcs. The foundation of the game, the melee more than the ranged, is peerless. The music, the environment, the "vibe", are rich. The base game class are well balanced within their perk trees and remain more viable than the dlc characters in HAVOC 30+. The recent pacing of new dlc releases have meant that fatshark (with its, meagre output) has been overwhelmed and can not take time to tune the careers and their weapons.
