Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 56.14/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
About

Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series.
In the depths of the hive, the seeds of corruption threaten to turn into an overwhelming tide of darkness. A mysterious and sinister new force is seeking to take control of the entire city. It is up to you and your allies in the Inquisition to root out the enemy before the city succumbs to Chaos.
As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise.

Built on the legacy of Vermintide 2’s best-in-class melee combat, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introduces intense WH40K gunplay to the mix. Master the balance between ranged and melee combat as you fight through a slew of enemies. Feel the impact of each swipe, swing, and slice of a chainsword, or fry some flesh with a lasgun.

Darktide is a co-op game. Wandering too far, risks punishment by foes looking to immobilize or capture stray Rejects, such as the slavering Chaos Hound or the Moebian Trapper. Once you fall prey to such foes, only your teammates can save you! More than that, your innate toughness – your determination to press on through the pain – only recharges when you are in the proximity of your strike team.

Create your own, unique character and customize their physical appearance, voice, and origin. Choose your class to determine which unique traits and skill sets they will make use of in battle. Will you be a seasoned veteran of the Imperial army, a snarky outsider, or a fiery zealot? The choice is yours.

Step into the violent, dystopian world of Warhammer 40,000. From boiling hot industrial factories to the decaying water maintenance zone afflicted by constant acid rainfall - Tertium Hive is a hard and unforgiving place even at the best of times. Your role is to serve the zealous Inquisition by embarking on missions to exterminate the threats lurking in the depths of the hive city, or die trying.

Adapt to the erratic whims of Chaos with conditions- mutators that add a spontaneous challenge to your mission. Your team must learn to adjust, adopt new tactics and change up their loadouts to face these ruthless challenges.

Latest in each market: best CA #72, worst BR #96 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very predatory monetization system, 43% of classes are very expensive DLC on top of the base game costing an arm and a leg.
I miss solo mode
I've thought a lot about how to articulate my feelings on this one. It's a pretty good successor to Vermintide 2, which I love. Some things are done better here, but some really aren't. I guess I'll start with the negatives and end on a positive note. This is gonna be a long one. Personalities aren't as well realized as before. I get why, there's more emphasis on customization and variety, party composition is no longer restricted (which is cool), but that comes at a cost. I miss characters like in V2. Enemy variety also took a hit. Imagine V2 with only Rotbloods and no Skaven - that's Darktide. Hope some other faction(s) will join the fight in the future. Menus feel a bit too complicated in places. And ffs why does changing operatives require a loading screen? in V2 you can do that instantly. Bursters. Just bursters, man. And trapper nets going through thick hordes and solid objects. No enemy in V2 has made me scream "WHAT?!" more than these two. Kind of a middle point that both games fumble - undercooked modes. I don't know why someone would grind out Expeditions, especially since they reset your progress. But then again, do you play Weaves in V2? How long did you play Versus? yeah. Shame it all cost time and recources. Last but not least - I'm not against paid skins, in theory. But if you want extra money for those from me, let me choose the skin I want. Rotating shops are cancer, I ain't buying anything from there on principle. That's all for my major complaints. Now, on to the positives. The gameplay, melee and ranged, feels, looks and sounds awesome. Effects are cool, weapons feel good to use and the game as a whole sounds fantastic. It's amazing that Fatshark managed to balance the ranged and melee combat, without one overtaking the other, but with the player still being able to specialize on one of them should they choose. Penance system is incredibly addictive and, if you engage with it, makes you try out stuff you otherwise probably wouldn't. And what is that stuff? Builds. V2 has basically no builds. Here, you have a lot more variety and freedom. Also, as mentioned, there's customization now, not just skins. I also like that Fatshark didn't try to reinvent the wheel with character types. Played Shade in V2? Ironbreaker? Maybe 1hp Zealot? You can make those here. The pace is very different. V2 is a comfort game for me. Darktide is relentless. The locales are amazingly detailed and atmospheric, 40K at its best, but there's no time to take in the sights, lol, especially on higher difficulties. There's proper endgame now. More difficulties, challenging modifiers, and if you're good at that - welcome to higher tier Havoc. And Mortis, I guess, but I haven't really touched that one. All in all, although it wasn't on release, Darktide is in a pretty good place right now. If you like 40k, Vermintide or just horde shooters in general - you should definitely give it a try. Blood for the Emperor, skulls for the Golden Throne!
i don't like the fact that when you buy a new character the early game is too easy. and when i now try to play with a new character that is not "DLC", the game is stupidly challenging. this "money trick" is unfair to be more specific: i bought all 3 DLCs ... but now i would like to play as a Psy, and its really... really.. really... difficult, compared to the paid DLCs. Why? oh and the algorithm that simply puts you in a party with other players of the same class, systematically, to make you buy DLCs, is .... <curse words>
OBESESHARRRRRRRRRK EXTERMINATUS VANGUARDS, AND MY LIFE & AQUILAS IS YOURS. other then that yea its a fantastic game 10/10, one of my favorites
