Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Perfect classic. Much better than the new Chaos Gates
I have put a stupid amount of hours into this game as a kid, so it's extremely fun to play again. The graphics are dated, but not so awful that it's impossible to play again. Be sure to adjust them in the options, for what it's worth. It's simple in mechanics, but the execution is still a blast after all these years. I'll never get tired of chunking Cultist fodder with a heavy bolter.

Great turn based strategy game with Awesome sound track
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate (Classic) — Reflective Impressions Going into Chaos Gate (Classic), I had to meet it where it is. This feels like one of those games that isn’t just meant to be picked up—it’s meant to be learned. And for what it represents, it’s honestly great. There’s a level of depth here that stands out pretty quickly. The mechanics feel more involved, more deliberate, and at times even a bit overwhelming when you’re first getting into it. It’s not the kind of strategy game where you can just improvise your way through everything. It asks you to think ahead, to plan, and to understand the systems it’s working with. It feels like the game expects you to think like a commander before it lets you feel like one. That depth comes with trade-offs. The pacing can feel slow or even dragged out at times, and a lot of that comes from how much the game asks you to engage with its systems. You’ll spend a significant amount of time planning, managing, and preparing before actually executing anything. The customization and squad management are deeper and more involved than what you see in Daemonhunters, but that added complexity can also feel demoralizing if you’re not in the mindset for it. At the same time, that’s also where the replayability comes from. Because the game leans so heavily on planning, there’s usually more than one way to approach a mission. Different decisions, different setups, different outcomes—it gives you room to refine how you play over time. The presentation was something I didn’t expect to appreciate as much as I did. The cinematic visuals and cutscenes can feel a bit dated—maybe even a little cheesy—but in a way that adds personality rather than taking away from it. There’s a kind of charm there that makes the experience feel more memorable. The soundtrack also stands out: it’s catchy, fits the tone well, and helps carry that classic Warhammer atmosphere. Comparing it to Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters, the difference becomes even clearer. The original feels very system-focused, while Daemonhunters leans more into the overall experience. In Daemonhunters, you can adapt and move forward even if you’re not perfectly optimized. In the classic, that same approach doesn’t always hold up—you’re expected to engage with the mechanics more fully. In some ways, the original might even feel like it has more “content,” but that really depends on how you define that. More systems, more planning, more depth—but more isn’t always better. It’s just different. Personally, I find Daemonhunters easier to pick up and return to because of that simplicity. But I can also see why the original Chaos Gate is still held in such high regard. There’s a level of depth here that feels intentional, even if it demands more from you as a player. So I do recommend it—but in a specific way. If you’re already a fan of Warhammer or strategy games, there’s a lot here to appreciate. But I wouldn’t suggest this as someone’s first entry into the genre. It asks for patience, and it expects you to meet it halfway. It’s a classic for a reason. And at the same time, I do hope that Daemonhunters (or future titles) can eventually find a way to recapture some of that depth and complexity from the original—without losing the accessibility it introduced. It feels like there’s still room for both.
Great game with awesome vibe and soundtrack
Good old Times./Gute alte Zeit. :-) :-) :-)
fun, honestly cute, classic. despite its bugs, it only adds to the retro experience.
Of course I recommend. Undying classic. After all this modern crap for kids with 3 AP and stupid cover system this game feels like a fresh breath.
