This game is truly amazing, with the best wheelchair physics I've seen in a video game. You can take my word for it, 'cause I'm a cripple myself. I haven't beaten the game yet, though, because it's a bit difficult to climb stairs with an old rusty wheelchair. But believe me, I will get those golden wheels! 10/10
makes me think being in a wheelchair would kind of suck actually
Solid game. Not completely rage-inducing because of the very generous checkpoint-system in place. The game is very stylized and extremely funny. The visuals, music, sound effects and characters/story really go hand-in-hand to make this a neat and cohesive package of fun. The controls are very clunky on purpose, you are supposed to feel as handicapped as the person in the wheelchair. Even after finishing 100% of the game I still felt as if I was only beginning to grasp how to handle it effectively. The skill ceiling is high, but the ceiling is not required at all to complete the game. The absolute greatest feature is the side-hop that allows you to align yourself properly on any given platform to set up the next jump, it's so good it will make you miss it in other games... Finishing the game can be done within a few hours unless you go for all the secrets, (which I recommend) that will reward you with a final gauntlet challenge that really tests your ability to handle the wheelchair. But it will also surely more then double the playtime. The developer is very actively improving on the game post-release: I have not at this time tested the multiplayer that just released, but I heard it's great bumping into each other. Also seemingly an extra map is in development... A solid game already with a huge potential for more.
This game has changed my life. While I may not physically be in a wheelchair, I am in a wheelchair spiritually, and for the first time in my gaming life, I feel *SEEN*. In the grand theatre of life’s cruel jests, I ride, gallantly and with chivalry, upon my iron throne. The lack of elevators, demonstrate a clear parallel to real life in that there are no easy way out, there are no handouts, and that life is harder if you're just sitting down in a chair (even if it has wheels). Throughout my life-affirming journey, every push of the wheel was like a whispered plea to the cosmos, every lurch forward a rebellion against physics itself. Balance too far forward, and you too shall tumble like Icarus. Too slow, and be drowned in the ever encroaching squeaks from your chair. This game, no, this experience, is a Kafkaesque nightmare rendered in brutalist architecture and flickering fluorescent light and flamingos. The bureaucracy, consistently wearing against my will and determination, like a cold, biting ocean into a brutal cliff face. But just like that cliff face, I. Still. STAND! (or sit). If you have made it this far, Play this game. Play it, and know suffering. Play it, and know triumph. Play it, and whisper to the stars: "I have filed my claim."
Unaccessible is an awkward control sim where you control a guy in a wheelchair with a lots of different action available to you. you can go forward and backward, only turn one wheel to go forward or backward in a direction, jump, little jump to the left or to the right, tilt your character on the wheelchair and a first person button. This sounds like a lots but i ended up barely using the singular wheel since using the joystick and forward backward felt easier to me. The level design was really repetitive at the beginning with barely any challenge but become more fun and varied around half way in. There were however a few time where i got stuck teleported when i wasn't stuck [Strike]and it must be even worst getting those when going for the no respawn achievement[/Strike] Overall, i'd say its a bit short for the price as i got all achievement beside the no respawn one in 3 hours, so i'd mostly recommend it on sale, but it's original and i had fun with it and it deserve a positive review.
One of the best precision platformers with a "gimmick" I've played. The trailer and screenshots make it seem like a rage game, but it's a solidly-built tough game with a very fair checkpoint system and a good amount of humor to it too.
HAHAHAHA What a funny and quirky game! Bloke's on an island on a wheelchair tryin to make an insurance claim and the comversation's are funny, his grunting is funny when tryin to maneouvre around the obsticles. Cool quirky game if you're into a Fun game hehe.
Game play is exactly as described. Fun and ran without as hiccup for me. Leggo godot!
Its not bad. I just wish there was more to do cuz there's really no point of coming back to this game once you reach the end. Try to buy this game on sale if you can.
Très bon platformer au gameplay unique avec le level design qui y colle bien
