War on Folvos

Хорошая игрушка, даст расслабиться. Увы, но обнов нет :( Upd 1: Миссии за повстанцев довольно лёгкие, за Империю чуть тяжелее, но думать в целом ни где не нужно, особенно если есть Паладин или Рипер + к ним коробочка или скатум.

Infantry, armor, artillery, air, scout and support assets . This game covers the bases. It's a basic hex tbs with no bells and whistles. I just picked it up for 50 cents, so how can I complain?

If you're really into these turn-based wargames and you see it on one of its regular sales for $1 or less then give it a go. For everyone else I'd steer clear. The backstory here isn't all that captivating so you'll skip through walls of text. The game mechanics are rather simple, and the game lacks quite a few basic options in the settings for a more user friendly experience. Honestly something like Panzer General 2 from 1997 that you can pick up for $4 or less has aged much better and provides a much more immersive and enjoyable experience.

Até pra os padrões de 2006 War on Folvos é um jogo ultrapassado e fraco. Um jogo de estratégia em turnos onde você não pode construir nem pesquisar nada, ou seja, totalmente focado em combate, e esse é muito simples e extremamente lento (você precisa atacar alguém 6 vezes ou mais pra matar uma unica unidade), além dos mais a "campanha" são um monte de missões chatas e sem conexão direta, e a resolução do texto fica sempre meio pequena (eu consigo ler, mas imagino que algumas pessoas não devam conseguir). Não consigo recomendar mesmo com o valor baixo, se você quiser jogos no estilo com certeza vai achar muitas outras opções melhores e esse jogo não vale nem a tentativa. ---------------------------------- Even by 2006 standards, War on Folvos is an outdated and weak game. A turn-based strategy game where you can't build or research anything, in other words, it's completely focused on combat, and it's very simple and extremely slow (you need to attack someone 6 times or more to kill a single unit). Furthermore, the "campaign" is a bunch of boring missions with no direct connection, and the text resolution is always a bit small (I can read it, but I imagine some people can't). I can't recommend it even with the low price tag. If you want games like this, you'll definitely find many other better options and this game isn't even worth trying.

Was fun waaay back in the day. Maybe worth it if you some want some nostalgia and remember this from the past.
