Yes
Very barebones, only several skills and for the whole run you can use only 1. Visually looks very clusterf*cky. A good amount of upgrades don't even do a thing. Choose "get 25% more damage" - damage stays the same. There is no meta progression, you just unlock some characters, and powers, but you can only select 1 power, which usually equals to 1 upgrade on level up.... This game becomes repetitive after a few runs. One of the most boring survivor-likes.
awesome game for the price, stands out in the genre with it's quirky stamina system. The characters are fun and varied in playstyle. cool upgrades and synergies, fun weapons. overall needs more content but for the price awesome deal. it is getting content updates regularly as well!
I think this is my first time playing a Vampire Survivor-like game before and at its $1.49 price point I think it's well worth it! Sure there are MANY improvements/QoL that can be made but I'm fine with how it is seeing how I read in another review that the dev made it in only 2 weeks and I assume there won't be much updates to it anymore since they're developing a sequel to this game. I'll admit one thing though... I have no clue how the title relates to the actual game :/
Jeu génial avec une difficulté croissante bien dosée ! Petit bémol : il n'y a de synchronisation verticale.
It's a bit of a cute game but a lot of the QoL issues made it unpleasant to play. The game window kept forcibly resizing back to a default that was larger than my monitor no matter what setting I messed with, and the tooltips on controls only show once the first time you play, which I missed because loading the level caused the game to resize. Again. There are no options to bring it back up or refresh the "tutorial" such as it is. I'm afraid this one needs more development time until it's ready for presentation.
Game has the following major issues: -You need to pay for everything; weapons (not really standard but not unheard of either), characters (understandable) and levels (ridiculous) -There is no auto attack. Meaning playing this game is inevitably going to tire out your hand. Even if you're simply holding down the mouse -There is no special cursor or targeting reticule , meaning it's extremely easy to lose track of where the mouse is. And trust me, you WILL lose where the mouse is numerous times during a stage. -Arguably (considering the price I guess) light on content. -You literally just have one weapon the entire time. Granted, you do have passives which are weapon-like, but it's not the same. The game quality is about what I'd expect given the price. But what pushed me to a not recommend was the auto attack issue. The game punishes you for playing it. Oh and the "You'll like this game if" section is flat out wrong. This is nothing like peglin or octopath survivor. Entirely different genres. It is only similar to brotato or vampire survivor by virtue of being a roguelike with similar gameplay but it's so empty that it's nothing alike.
It would be nice to have some sort of healtbar below your character. Personally I would put the moving stamina bar on top of the screen and some sort of healthbar below my character. Constantly having to monitor your health by looking up doesn't really work for me. At first I thought the other bar was a healthbar, and didn't understand why character kept dying....
i like it
