Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I did cry. More than once. The art is beautiful and the characters have so much depth. I wish I could stay with them a bit longer to get to know them better.
Boro is the GOAT
Ponderslop
If games like PEAK and Big Walk can be called "friendslop," I think my cheeky descriptor of this game is equally valid. A game with significant core strengths, and no shortage of weaknesses. But to focus overmuch on those weaknesses would be... missing the forest for the trees, you might say. Unfortunately, its strengths don't necessarily make it an easy recommend. Ultimately, this is a game about mental health, about dealing with the pressure of feeling compulsion for success, and about forcing oneself to take time to relax. This is a game that seems laser-focused at a particular kind of person - the kind of person who doesn't necessarily pick up cozy indie games on Steam and sink 10 hours into them on a whim - and who is willing to, let's say, accept several compromises about how those 10 hours are spent in the spirit of embracing the message of the game. I did not like it. I'm sorry! I didn't. Between the fact that the weaknesses are in fact weaknesses - which I won't bore you with and invite counterarguments for here - the reality is that my free time is both scarce and zero-sum; the fact that I was spending no small amount of it to hear what this game had to say, sorta already proved that I wasn't in dire need of its message in the first place. I know how to relax with cozy games; I have played them before. The problem is that the salience of this game's message, for me, is overshadowed by the many ways in which it is inferior to other cozy games that I have played. If that's sounds damning, that's because it is - but I'd rather be forthright about my core issue with the game than skirt around the fact and damn it with faint praise. So, why the thumbs-up? Well, all told, I still think there's enough "there" there. Someone is going to take a lot from this game; someone who has struggled with feelings of inferiority, someone who struggles with resting anxiety, someone who - well, frankly, someone who should probably seek therapy instead of looking for a $25 indie game to fix them. But therapy can be expensive and this game is fairly cheap when it's on sale, so pick this one up if you're looking for a certain type of game: a game about internal exploration, about confronting feelings that maybe you've been dimly aware of but never paid attention to, about learning to accept what you can't change about yourself and, maybe, learn some things you can. Y'know... a Ponderslop kind of game. Narrowly recommended.
Game is great so far, really enjoying the way this is written and the gameplay - but I am having a consistent issue with the audio (music and sounds) disappearing? Sometimes right after I load in, or sometimes I can play for hours without issue and then it all suddenly goes mute, no music, voice, footsteps, nothing. Audio settings normal (100 on all), sound working in other apps. Sorry to have to list this in a review but I don't know how else to report it so you will see it. Anyway restarting the game fixes it, but it would be cool not to have to do that. As for the gameplay, I have not finished the game yet but I am finding it rewarding to think outside of the box a little and to help Alta try to grow. I like that this game is depicting mental health struggles and healing in a way that is relatable and nonlinear and imperfect. I like the weird fruits and the unique gardening and the impermanence. Looking forward to the rest of the experience, sound or no, tbh.
Wanderstop is a story game, not a farming game.

7/10
Originally appeared on my radar because I heard that C418 composed all the music for the game, even though the music isn't the same sound as the original Minecraft soundtrack, I still enjoyed it. I had my fun with Wanderstop while I played it, if you just follow the story it's pretty short. and can be completed in under 12 hours. However, the story felt like it didn't really have a conclusion? I thought there was going to be some sort of big reveal at the end where we actually find out what was happening to the main character. If they said what the conclusion was, I didn't catch it. felt like most of it is chalked up to "because of magic" which is a lame conclusion in any kind of story driven game. the mystery doesn't remain, if you say because magic, it was never there to begin with. regardless, it was relaxing and an interesting twist on Growth/Tea Brewing mechanics.
Pros
> Great Soundtrack that fits the atmosphere of the game. > The Artwork is so beautiful. I am an addict for the painted digital aesthetic. > Actual interesting, and sometimes personable protagonist. > Many unique characters and story beats. > Fascinating take on farming mechanics. > Recommends use of controller, but Mouse and Keyboard control works really well.
Cons
> The game was really short, and the story was inconclusive despite being a story driven game. I have too many questions, if a second game isn't going to be released then the answers should have been in this first game. I'm not sure if we're going to get one though, this feels like a one off. > There's little else to do other than the main story, checking out all the plant Hybrids, and seeing what the protagonist has to say about every tea that's brewed. wish there was more content really. > The play space is really small, this is because it's a story driven game and not an open world farming game :))))))))))))) but is all seriousness, I do wish the play space was larger and had more to discover. what would be there? maybe some more conclusive answers in the form of lore about the world? I didn't read any of the books in the game. after the first one I basically assumed that they'd all be filler and not really have anything to offer in terms of answers about the place I am currently in.
Neutral
> I'm not a fan of the
"Lose everything when you enter the next chapter" system. the only thing that stays after moving on is the pictures you keep in the picture frames
. I get why it's there, it's suppose to convey a fresh start but. I play survival games where building up my wealth in the wilds is something I look forward to. if you're not ready for it, it might throw you off. again, story game, not a farming game. > I know there's a lot of different dialogue options in the game, I'm curious how much it actually effects the story depending on your decisions. maybe the answers for the inconclusions are in those. but I really don't feel like doing another playthrough and trying to be polar opposite of the person I was last time.
Conclusion
I liked the game. it was relaxing and fun. the story was really enthralling till the end when I realized I wouldn't be getting answers for most of the questions.
So far it's a fairly basic farming sim and rests on the story, the quirky characters and the dialogue. But it's entertaining, and the visuals and audio are atmospheric and well made.

i tricked myself into buying thbis thinking itllbe relatable. i forgot that i am the least relatable person on the planet
Cozy, slow, and introspective
A wonderful story about burnout hiding behind a cozy tea shop simulator. Not much else to say about it except for its cute art style and nice soundtrack (by the amazing C418) to complement it.
