Voor de kroon is a medieval wargame.
Get ready for immersive historical battles
Pull back to the RTS camera to maneuver your formations, time your charges and hold your lines. Then drop into third person and fight in the mud alongside your men while the battle decides itself.
Grounded in real medieval warfare
All arms and armor are drawn from contemporary sources. Helmets, mail and plate, weapons and equipment all belong to the era they represent and are modeled after manuscript and effigy references.
Build anything with the Warforge editor
The editors ship inside the game ready to use the moment you launch it. Create units, factions, castles and entire campaigns as easily as laying out a level, then share them on the Steam Workshop or play what the community has already made.
The Friso-Hollandic Wars campaign
Voor de Kroon's first native campaign is a full historical conquest set in the 13th-century Low Countries. Fight as Floris V to avenge your father's death against the Frisians or play the Frisians in their struggle to survive against the feudal lords. It's the first of more official campaigns to come.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game shows a lot of promise what bugs me in particular though about this is 1. the attacking doesnt feel to great with few animations and paired with a strange camera view at times it just feels lack luster also the equipment i couldnt get for some reason i seemed locked into just the base weapons no archery or nothing like in the video 2. the campaign needs the most work with their being not enough overall depth to it, it just doesnt feel dynamic and it overall doesnt feel or look like much ever goes on until the season ends and then finally all you see is a few attacks by the AI.... theirs as much good as bad but for now it does leave the feeling of it being a little to early access for me i shall come back to the game in future if it overhauls a lot of the clunkiness about the game it has the right foundation to be a great game
good
I love this game everyone says that its a good balance between total war and mount and blade and I agree here are some points that I want to make about this game. First off I would kill for some more time to be invested into the campaign and kingdom building aspects. what is in the game now feels alright and is serviceable but it feels like more of a vessel to give the player a reason to fight in battles and sieges. this is fine for the first couple of hours but the campaign and kingdom management is very bare bones and never really plays a big role in the game. Secondly keep at it with the update pertaining to the RTS mode its a fantastic addition and gives a good middle ground for players who want both sides of the battle. Thirdly some balance changes to some of the units would be nice, its very infuriating and disheartening to loss and entire army to a single unit of calvary I understand that calvary was the most useful and decisive weapon of the middle ages but its brutal when those scenarios occur, and maybe making units shown wearing plate or mail armor more effective against units like the town militia. Also if i could make a suggestion for content I would like to see added, early gunpowder I find very interesting I understand the game is set a like before hand but maybe a dlc adding a few units from later periods would be killer. Anyways thats enough I do love this game and can't wait to see what the devs continue to do with this.
