This is a fun hidden object game, with a major flaw. It isn't a complete story. There should be more at some point I'm sure, and the actual gameplay in having to visit some places more than once is a good mechanic. But getting to the end of the game as is and not getting to the end of the story is very annoying.

I liked the gameplay and story of this a lot. This game has a cool mechanic which requires you to make potions and stuff in order to progress. You will probably be disappointed by the ending, completely warranted, but I wasn't. I don't mind cliffhangers. Not a lot of replay value despite the fun. No collections or achievements. Still worth playing once if you like HOGs. 6/10

Unfinished, enjoyable with some challenge but disappointing to be left without a conclusion.

Tags: Adventure - WC - Hidden Object Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Hide from Library TLDR: Abandonned Episodic. Cliffhanger ending. Constant backtracking. Recycled items and HO scenes. Arbitrary item locations. Slow Hints. Basically this is your typical medium and spirits of the dead story. Most puzzles are just long strings of item fetchquests in a chain, in which necessary objects must be uncovered mostly by redoing HO scenes that have already been completed. The game requires a lot of backtracking as it opens previously defeated area for beating them again for objects. The magical system is not used all very much and is basically just an overly decorated item mixing system, mostly used to make little voodoo dolls. As you progress areas become shorter and cinematics make way for still shot style slideshows. Conclusion: Beatable in one sitting, unmemorable and poorly designed this is an easy game to skip and really a bit disrespectful to the whole magical thematic it was trying to approach by not really providing a really credible or enjoyable frame around it. Removed permanently for declutter.

It ends with a sequel??? Where is it then?

The Hidden Object screens are a bit obnoxious - some things you have to find are almost completely hidden behind other objects to the point where you can't tell what it is. Not many puzzles mostly just item collection but it kept me entertained. Shame it's TBC though

Un jeu d'objet cachet avec une ambiance magie noire à la Nouvelle Orléans. Ici il nous faut trouver à l'aide de pouvoirs magiques et de réflexion des ingrédients pour confectionner des potions et poupées vaudou ! On se déplace sur quatre lieux distincts au fur et à mesure de notre enquête. Une musique d'ambiance lugubre à souhait, des puzzles sympa et sans trop grande difficultés, de beaux décors. Le seul point négatif se situe au bout des 4 heures de jeu avec un : " a suivre" alors qu'il n'y a pas de suite de disponible grrr !
