Red Death ✔️

Shoot'em up where everything is represented in 4-colors palette. Bullets might be hard to distinguish from the background. Controls are ok, hold down button for precision movement. Grab stars to fill up overcharge gauge but before using it, player usually got hit. Each stage ends with a boss. Bullet pattern is just same thing over and over again. Music is boring. Bad game. 只因画风吸人睛, 岂料手残怪物侵。 百计千方难过面, 东练西试枉劳心。 罢!罢!罢! 必是缘悭命蹇 运拙时乖 洒家自去也..
arcade bir shoot em up oyunu keyifli bulamadım
Red Death is a craptastic 2D retro pixel GameMaker Studio arcade bullet hell/shmup made presumably by copying + pasting a shoot 'em up template in GameMaker Studio and then paying $100 to publish this under Valve's disastrous (for gamers) Steam Direct program. But rest assured this is no pure asset flip, as the game visual and audio assets are so terrible in quality that no self respecting asset creator would try to sell them for money. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. In fact the developer doesn't seem to have worked out you can display multiple colours with GameMaker Studio, so the game is just presented in shades of red or green. The dev must really hate colourblind people. Then again, with these kinds of amateur development projects, this is a product designed not for gamers, but for one sole purpose: So it can be published under Steam Direct so that the Starbucks barista behind this train wreck can say they're a game developer. Now they really have something interesting to talk about during their 5 minute lunch break. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game only displays in mobile phone style ultra-pillarboxed aspect ratio (padded out to widescreen). This is just one of many indications this was developed to be a mobile app and not a serious PC game. It's not acceptable for developers to dump garbage like this on Steam when it's not even formatted or designed to run properly on modern PC gaming displays, to the point that this could be considered insulting. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is most commonly used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. A strong argument can be made that construction kits like GameMaker Studio should never be used to make games for profit, as the "developer", Panda Indie Studio WrathSchneider has done here. These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Red Death has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for dying (something playing this crappy game will definitely make you feel like doing), trivial to achieve, but less than 7 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Red Death is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
A cheap, simple-looking bullet hell SHMUP that will prove difficult for people like me who don't ordinarily play such games. But I want to get good at SHMUPs! They are the most primal digital games of all, and as I do love digital games, I can and will make an effort to get sort of okay at them! Did you know that every bit of text in this game is written as if it should be yelled in a Cockney accent!? With an exclamation point?! But that's fine by me! Some tips for beginners like myself: 1. Get the laser and keep the laser until the second pattern in the first Nyarlathotep encounter! 2. Get ready to hit that trigger and go slow as soon as the bullets get thick! 3. Don't look directly at your ship! Keep your eyes sort of to the center of the screen or a little below! I'm sure the main campaign is just fifteen minutes of fluffy Wal-Mart bakery cake for bullet hell veterans, but I felt really proud of myself for beating it. Just like a big boy! So yeah, I certainly got my 99 cents worth . . .
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
