More Volgarr the Viking! I appreciate the updates made to the game play of this sequel. Having multiple checkpoints per stage is great for people that can only get smaller play sessions (AKA adults, parents, etc.) in. And if you want the classic experience, you need only (spoilers) destroy the check points and be rewarded with gold! The addition of (spolier) zombie mode lets players that are still learning practice any stage through. Tying it in to the multiple endings is a wise move too! Changes to the powerup system are also welcome, allowing for more agency even when the player is getting slowly beaten down trying to progress. A well thought out and made sequel!
in some ways i don't like it as much as the original but it's a worthy successor
Great game. Good upgrade from the original, though a bit easier.
Its been a few years since the first game, but this one felt just as punishing. This was a great rage inducing platformer just as I had hoped it would be.
É bão
it is still as hard as a northern frozen rock.

Hard but fair
It's pretty much the same as the first game. Same hardcore mechanics, same UX/controls problems. Fun, hardcore, but lacks some controls flexibility and quality of life stuff (like controlling the character in the air, throwing the spear when you are close to the wall, saving momentum when running of a cliff without having to roll, ability to restart a second part of the world without having to die manually, etc.).
