Super 10 Pin

Despite 90s-00s nostalgia being in vogue, it feels like actual low-poly aesthetics are underrated. Most "PS1" style games don't commit to the bit. Super 10 Pin feels like an N64 game, balls to bone, and it wraps that authentic style within a gameplay format that feels straight out of the era. Making a clone of Mario 64 doesn't make me think of the N64, it makes me think of plagiarism. This feels like it could've been a cult classic that released on the system. It's unique and addicting. It rules.

the aesthetics are fun mix of vaporwave and early 5th gen console games, physics are pretty good and the bowling balls are all well designed mechanic-wise there are only two gripes I have: 1) the game is a bit short with only one 100 pin and 3 pin lanes (which is the tutorial lane), and only 45 regular lanes, I wish there were two more worlds, I would even get it as a dlc 2) this is really minor one, but you can't change lanes from the pause menu, there's only a quit to menu option, which gets a bit annoying at times also seeing the level progression in the pause menu would be nice

This game has a budget title N64 rental feel to it which hits perfectly. Love the engine/physics/SFX carrying over from Knight's Try. Good game feel as expected from Modus, and I like how the special bowling balls have different throw gauge gimmcks. Courses become progressively more alien and you start using the gutter lanes on purpose for example. Well done.

My only real complaint with Super 10 Pin is just that it could do to be a little more fast-and-loose with its bowling mechanics, as actually shooting balls is fun but having to do so a dozen times per stage becomes a little grating, especially when there's not a lot of visual variation to make the time spent in each "world" maximally appealing, and the time it takes for the ball to get to the pins can feel a little exaggerated. Otherwise, this is an incredible bite-sized piece of a trend I'm really happy to see established over the past few years; nostalgic surreal soft-ruled sports games.

One of those rare games that has a clear idea of what it wants to do and how it will go about it, then proceeds to actually execute said plan. You know what you're here, for, too (and if you don't, you should check out the demo): virtual bowling with a twist. Everything is jam-packed with nice touches, like the pins changing from world to world, or the hidden "Amazing!" throw strength, or how special balls will have different wind-up behavior. Seriously, if you're on the fence, go for it.

they are still making videogames!! they are still making fun experiences with comprehensible gameplay and a steady parade of both unlocks and fair challenges! gorgeous graphics, incredible soundtrack, a dreamy vibe you can lose hours in... i love that this one feels like some forgotten N64 classic! intuitive fun, but has a real genuine depth of mastery if you want it.

I highly recommend Super 10 Pin! As someone who has played nearly every bowling game on Steam... this is the best one there is. It's not going for authenticity, but it's creative, it has cool levels, great N64 aesthetics, neat power-ups, pretty fair pin physics. If you played and enjoyed Milo's Astro Lanes on the N64, you'll probably love this one! Took about 12-13 hours to get all medals, stars, and achievements.

$15 is a steal for this, the games a blast

This feels like it came straight out of the n64 era, it is visually very retro and the gameplay is amazing. The level design is challenging yet fair enough to play through and have a good time and the music is also extremely accurate to the feel of the game. This game deserves more attention since it is one of the more unique modern retro games out there today.
