Mutliplayer is still incredibly buggy and features will fail to work at random like the hold q menu for hotswapping consumables. among other things
It had potential but nothing works, half of the quests are get from depot to depot and do nothing more. It feels like nothing matters, they made a game with mechanics from multiple games but they don't really work together ? I wouldn't recommend buying the game though.
This game had so much potential but the dev. let me down
Прикольная игра
Voidtrain is a survival RPG. The story kicks off with you playing as a regular engineer who ends up on an interdimensional space-trolley that you need to constantly upgrade. Along the way, you are saved by a Rofleemo, and the game introduces Norse signs and Viking mythology. While the plot isn't exactly a massive page-turner and lacks any major twists, it is completely cohesive—the game never shows you an important plot device in one scene only to completely forget about it in the next. Quick heads-up, by the way: Voidtrain and Breathedge actually have completely different developers (Nearga/HypeTrain vs. Redruins Softworks). They just share the exact same publisher, which is probably why the visual style, vibe, and narrator commentary feel so beautifully similar! The Short Answer: Is It Worth Buying? You should definitely pick it up on a sale. It’s a very pleasant and satisfying game with a constant sense of progression, even if the pacing drops a bit during the last 5 hours. Playtime 5/10 It took me about 25 hours to clear all the current content. If you strictly rush through the main story, you can probably finish it in about 15 hours. Story 6/10 An engineer on a space-trolley uncovers a cohesive narrative tied to Viking lore and mysterious creatures. Music 6/10 Unobtrusive background tracks. It's there, and it does the job well enough. Graphics 7/10 Stylized Unreal Engine look. Mechanics 7/10 Upgrading your train is an incredibly satisfying process, although the system could drastically use more building variety. At a certain point in the late game, resources simply start piling up with nothing to spend them on. There is very little automation, meaning you have to spend a ton of time running back and forth across your train carriages to keep things moving. On the bright side, the storage chests are highly convenient and feature a fantastic auto-sorting/auto-loading mechanic. The weaponry feels mechanically similar to High on Life. The baseline arsenal isn't massive—featuring about 4 primary weapon types—but it offers tons of distinct weapon modules meant to boost your stat numbers. Travel events are somewhat scarce; you mostly get a few recurring side encounters alongside the cool scripted story sequences. Personal Take The visual style, atmosphere, and comedic narrator commentary feel exactly like Breathedge or games like Dungeons 1-3. If you liked that style of humor, you’ll definitely feel right at home here. The animations are absolutely adorable; they carry a ton of charm and easily make up for a lot of the game's flaws. On the negative side, after your 7th to 10th station visit, the gameplay loop becomes heavily repetitive, and the journey drastically lacks dynamic new events to keep things fresh. The train upgrades carry over so smoothly that they rarely feel like they significantly impact or change the core gameplay. The UI for monitoring and managing your workers is utterly terrible. Combat is pretty mediocre overall, though not completely awful. I also noticed a very strange input bug where the mouse clicks occasionally fail to register, causing the weapons to lock up or jam mid-fight. Overall Score: 74/100
Un jeu atypique, fun, où l'on voit un monde jamais vu. Un monde de vide où la lumière est superbe. Je recommande ce jeu !
Вначале может быть немного интересно дальше это очень скучный и однотипный гринд сюжет для детей младше 12
Super fun to roam around the destroyed uber cosmos and encounter the eldritch horrors while running out of shark leather, but unironically
