I have been hungering for a Final Fantasy Tactics-like game for so long, and this has scratched the itch so darn good. I am so impressed by the combat system, it also uses a merging between time and turn based combat like FFT where each unit will act every 30 time, spells take X time units to cast, and many abilities and actions can make your or an opponents turn come earlier or later. It's such a fun little system. There is so much to talk about with this series, so much I love, but I think it's best to just give one of these games a go. This is definitely a hidden gem for me.

I just beat the game and it's amazing! Pros: 1)combat is very fun. I love tactics games with job classes and the game executed it near perfectly 2)OST is catchy 3)Game offers quite a lot in terms of explorations and secrets 4)The journal with item descriptions was an interesting idea. Cons: 1)Story is almost non-existent. It has a bit at the start, then 10-14h combat and explorations, then a bit more of story at the end. The conclusion also felt like it could have been handled better given what the main villain implied at the end. But, even though I wanted to know more about the world and characters, this didn't reduce the fun i had with the game. 2)some spells, abilities, itens and icons needed better wording and explanations Overall I give this game a solid 8.5/10.

Surprisingly solid. The GUI could use a little work, and story-wise it reads like a super nintendo game, but all in all I've enjoyed it.

Definitive team tactics game!
