Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

alright so im gonna start out with, im a big ole scardey cat. spent 15 hours squinting and looking away every ten seconds while my chat made fun of me. this game genuinely got my house haunted. it got progressively worse each niight for 3 nights until i had to just uninstall the game and call my daughters hispanic grandmother down from chicago to sage the house. anyways, hope this helps. great game if you want to invite evil ♥♥♥♥ into your home lmao
I regret having to post a negative review of a game, but this really took me by surprise. I saw on multiple places (reddit, forums, etc.) that Visage was some people's favorite horror game due to how scary the game was, and unfortunately that was not my experience. At best, this is a 6.5/10 game to me. There were admittedly a handful of genuinely scary parts, but otherwise the game was somewhat frustrating to play. There are four chapters, and each chapter the design is pretty similar: you're learning about a tragic thing that happened to someone who lived in this house before you, and you have to solve puzzles while always having a looming threat of a monster chasing you. Except the monster can appear randomly--really anywhere--which means that it could spawn right next to you, and you only have a second or two to react. Meaning sometimes the "gameplay loop" consists of you repeatedly dying (in a fairly loud and lengthy cutscene for the purpose it serves, I might add) in an effort to determine what miniscule detail you missed. I read guides online as to how to progress and perhaps the game was updated, but closing the door on a monster never had an effect because all of them seem to be able to warp through doors, meaning you have to line-of-sight each monster, rendering the doorways useless. Lastly, while I appreciate a modern game that eschews the "go here, do this" markers or compass, I think Visage is overly obtuse with its direction. For example, I spent the first two hours of gameplay exploring every inch of the house and finding secrets, which was fun but ultimately led to a game of "spot the difference" later on which was tedious and ultimately not fun, and vastly different from how the actual gameplay was in the chapters proper. I think there's other games that, both in terms of narrative and gameplay, do a better job, and therefore I cannot recommend this game at its current price.
I'm super disappointed that I have to make this a negative review, but this game has too many flaws to overlook.
Pros
Very Good Atmosphere - As this is essentially "P.T.: Expanded" it nails the atmosphere behind the original. You can tell that this house is wrong (if the first cutscene didn't already clue you in at that point) and the different sections of each chapter solidify that. Dynamic Sanity System - The system works by triggering more paranormal events (lights turning off/breaking, doors closing, etc.) the lower sanity you are. This can snowball because those events lower your sanity, which causes more events + can summon a ghost that kills you.

Cons
Mind-numbingly Slow - When exploring the main house, you move slower than the guy who's literally in crutches. It takes about a minute and a half to move from the second floor parent's bedroom to the power room in the basement, and during the chapter with the old woman, you have to go through a 30 second long cutscene to get to the second floor. You have to go through this cutscene constantly because you have to backtrack. Inconsistent Danger Ghosts seemingly spawn at random rather than being tied to how much sanity you have. This means that (more frequently in my playthrough, I should mention!) you can randomly die because the ghost appeared directly in front of you. Even then, at no point in the game did I feel I was ever "in danger" from a ghost that was chasing me, because (even with your slow speed) you move way faster than them. So much faster, I was able to get out of a dead end by juking the ghost. Also, not once was I ever worried about my sanity level, because it is both laughably easy to get back sanity (just look at a window or a light) or take one of the many pills you'll find in the house. I'm not even joking when I say there's a room "that you get the key to super early on" that has Nine lightbulbs and Four lighters. I should also mention not once did a single light fixture break except for the scripted one at the very beginning; and that I only ran out of fuel for one lighter. "Needle-in-the-Haystack Objectives" It is nigh-impossible to figure out what you need to do in both the mirror chapter and during the last leg of the game. For example,
the Affliction tape needs you to: Grab the crowbar, Go into the room with the covered up furniture, then break the floor. The Greed tape needs you to: Go to the boiler room, climb (and fail to) open a vent, get a stepladder from another room, then go through the vent.
You are supposed to figure these out from just a picture of a well, and a picture of a contract respectively. The game does not tell you anything about what you need to do, which is especially bad since in some of these sections you are actively getting hunted by ghosts. Awkward Controls + Janky Inventory Now, a janky inventory can be a good thing; see Receiver 2. The idea of having two extra slots because of your hands is interesting, but is implemented in such an awful way. You have to hold down the drop key, then click which hand you want to drop from with your mouse buttons. Instead of just opening doors with a click, you have to hold down your mouse and drag the door open Amnesia-style. Thing is, it works in Amnesia because stealth is an integral mechanic. Here, it's pointless and frustrating. In order to open a locked door, instead of just going up to the door and clicking on it while having the key in possession, you instead have to: Look at the door, open inventory, select the specific key (which unlocks the door), close inventory, then you can go through the door. Good luck doing that on a controller while you're being chased. Lackluster Ending
This section includes spoilers for the "Family Reunion" Ending.
So you've gone through the 3 layers of (metaphorical) hell. You've gone through the 7 VHS tapes and completed the mask. Now it's time to leave this house. You pick up the mask, then go back downstairs to the hidden room behind the painted wall in the basement. You open the door into a white void. The silhouette of your family in front of you appears for a moment, then you're pulled backwards into... Roll Credits. ...what? You're telling me I spent 8 hours of my life slogging through this game for it to end on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cut-to-black?

Overall, it has an interesting premise, atmosphere, and story. But the gameplay is such a turnoff that I wouldn't find it hard to imagine someone else refunding just from that alone.
Can I recommend this game? No, but only because I have a conscience. It's terrifying and I dug into the story behind the house and the ghosts and actually lost sleep. it's such an incredible game and there is so much I would like to discover but I just can't play it or I might have a heart attack.
This game was a massive disappointment. The scenery and environments are fantastic, and they really made the world feel real and foreboding. Unfortunately, just about everything else sucks. The resource management was pretty lame and unnecessary in my opinion. The enemies start as scary, but then they just get annoying as they kill you over and over. It turns the game into a chore. I played two chapters and started a third before deciding to stop playing. The game loop was repetitive: get trapped in a room, look around while waiting for things to change, get out, then be chased around by the enemy and probably die and have to start over a few times. Furthermore, the lack of any direction makes the game even more tedious. It gets to a point where the only way of figuring out what to do is by messing around aimlessly for hours or simply searching a walkthrough. I was truly scared at times, but the game quickly devolved and it just isn't fun. I would honestly prefer if it were a walking simulator with scares, because at least that way I'd be able to enjoy the incredible ambience and environments. Overall, I feel that this game is best enjoyed by watching someone else play it on YouTube.
