I don't feel like being harsh towards a developer's first game, which in this case is an extremely low priced bullet heaven title in the earliest phase of Early Access (pun intended). But whereas this is likely a good exercise in development for a newcomer to the scene, I can't really find a single reason to recommend buying this title as opposed to the myriads of other much more polished, more varied, more fun games in the genre. Extremely basic graphics with poorly readable battlefield due to many small elements and no consideration of how colours go together; extremely basic gameplay with no real strategic depth or any new idea aside from the killing of virii; only a single character and a single map that can be completed in a handful of minutes; also plenty of bugs, including some resolution woes at launch and a funny glitch that lets the player gain a lot of coins even if they quit in the first second, making the grind towards the permanent upgrades a breeze. All my best wishes to developer mouse, but it would be dishonest for me to claim it's worth buying Virus Survivor in this state, as it's currently extremely far from a sufficient level of quality expected in this genre.
