Собственно, яхта есть, выпивка тоже, да и дамы в количестве двух штук присутствуют, пора отправляться в путь! Но пьянство ещё никого до добра не доводило... Легли наши викинги спать на драккаре (даже вахту не выставили!), а проснулись, извиняюсь, на летающих островах. Более того, выяснилось, что томящийся в древесной тюрьме колдун специально притянул корабль наших героев, чтобы те его освободили. В общем, накрыло ребятишек не по-детски. Колдуна викинги, разумеется, освободили (исключительно по незнанию, ога), и тот, обрадованный свободой, тут же начал безобразничать. Делать нечего: придётся приводить всё в первозданный вид. Острова прибрать, золота-брильянтов натырить, деревья посадить, колдуна прибить. Итак, в путь! [h1][b] Огромное спасибо за релакс-режим и ачивки! [/b][/h1] Собственно, геймплей абсолютно ничем не отличается от такового в других тайм-менеджментах. У нас имеется карта уровней, каждый уровень загажен по самые помидоры, и нам при помощи трудолюбивых работников придётся разгребать завалы, закапывать ямы, добывать ресурсы и строить производственные здания. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2064602893 Здания можно улучшать, а производимые ими ресурсы необязательно забирать сразу: каждая шахта/ферма/лесопилка накапливает до десяти единиц продукта, и только потом прекращает производство. Как только ресурсы будут перенесены на склад, цикл продолжится. На каждом уровне нам придётся строить жилища для нашей весёлой четверки. Викинги пригодятся, ведь иногда мы будем сталкиваться с проблемами, решить которые могут только главные герои. Например, Эваранд отличается недюжинной силой и подойдёт для устранения больших препятствий, а Боромир умеет махать мечом. [i] Кстати, на некоторых уровнях нам будут встречаться враги. Они не атакуют, но изрядно пугают наших работников и вообще мешают пройти. Вот тут-то и пригодятся воины. [/i] Одна из сестричек колдует, и ей тоже найдётся применение. А куда ж в таком круизе, и без волшебства? Наряду с работниками, которые занимаются привычными делами, нам будет помогать... белочка! А я предупреждал, что пьянство до добра не доводит! Животинку можно будет использовать для сбора орешков, ягодок и листочков :D Я чуть не разрыдался от такой... х-м-м... милоты. Есть в игре и бонусные уровни, где нам предлагается сыграть в маджонг. Для любителей самое то. Время от времени мы будем варить варево или выращивать шишки, неважно, а смысл процесса сводится к тому, чтобы поймать в горшок нужные ингредиенты. А-ля старая советская электронная игра "Ну, погоди!". Вот, собственно, и весь игровой процесс. Пару слов скажу о достижениях. Во-первых, они есть, во-вторых, их получение не представляет абсолютно никакой сложности (идеальная игра в профиль), и, в-третьих, особо ленивые (и я в том числе) могут выбрать режим "релакс" и вообще не париться по поводу времени. Нас ждут парящие острова, подводное царство, леса, луга и пляжи - регионов в игре много, и они достаточно разнообразны. You can find many games like this, most of them from the Alawar publisher. There are many levels, you can play anytime when you just have 6 minutes for a level and slowly progress through the story or while multitasking and the other tasks don't need your full attention. So why is my review positive if it is just a time-waster? Because the game still could take our attention and if anyone interested in this kind of game then all, or nearly all Alawar published time management games are good to spend some time. Still, probably better to buy them during sales, as there are many similar games out there. It is also worth mentioning that nowadays not many new casual games out there, which don't have "profile limited" status. This is one without that, so actually nice to get something which adds to steam profile statistics and achievement statistics. [h1]Hey, I am an achievement hunter![/h1] Perfection time: 8-10h. 1 playthrough enough on any difficulty, just finish all levels and it is a 100% game, however if you playing on a difficulty other than the easiest/relaxing, then you need to be sure you finish 30 levels on 3-star time too. 3-star is automatically on relaxing difficulty.

Insgesamt gibt es 54 Level, fünf Tavernenrätsel und 16 Bonuslevel, sodass man mehrere Stunden mit spielen beschäftigt ist. Neben dem Sammeln gilt es natürlich auch Gebäude zur Ressourcengewinnung zu bauen und auch Gebäude mit Helden, welche spezielle Aufgaben erledigen können. Bei Viking Heroes gab es kein Level bei dem ein "point of no return", d.h. eine Sackgasse bei der man nicht mehr weiterspielen konnte, zustande kam. [b]Grafik & Sound[/b] Das Leveldesign ist eigentlich ganz schön, da man verschiedene Hintergründe (Wald, Wüste, etc.) verwendet, aber leider doch recht repetitiv. Auch die Symbole und die Animationen der Arbeiter, Helden und Feinde sind nett anzusehen. Akustisch ist die Musik wenig abwechslungsreich, sodass ich Radio hörte. Ob sie mir langweilig vorkommen, ist vielleicht auch ein Grund, da ich nur meist 20% spiele und dann ein Review abgebe, da die Spielzeit etwas hoch ist, wenn man diese durch spielt. Ich habe nun 85 Minuten im Spiel verbracht und habe Level 10 geschafft von 50. Wenn die Level nicht Zeitaufwändiger werden würden, wären das bei meiner Spielgeschwindigkeit immerhin knappe 7 Stunden Spielzeit. Das finde ich schon sehr angemessen bei dem Preis. Bei Anfängern würde ich von 10 Stunden Spielzeit ausgehen und das ist ziemlich gerechtfertigt. Wenn man also diese ganzen positiven Aspekte nimmt und dabei bedenkt, kann man eigentlich nur den Daumen nach oben geben. Wie ich schon in den anderen Reviews erwähnt habe, spielen verbindet und man muss halt bedenken, für wen diese Games gemacht sind. Two thumbs up! This is a fine edition to the Viking Brothers series! So far everything is working fine-- no bugs or glitches-- and all the achievements are coming along. As far as game-play, it is a standard resource-gathering game, similar enough to any of the earlier titles to make it easy to grasp for people of all ages. If you have played any of the earlier titles in this series, you know that the brothers (strong Boromir and clever Everand) are often helped by Heimdall and Loki. Here Loki is replaced with the red-haired sister Brunhilde, a freckle-faced witch who casts magic as you need it, and the blonde sister Helga takes care of dispelling the dark storm clouds. Many familiar faces reappear, including my favorite, Rocket Rotato who hangs out in I-am-Yggdrassil. For those who enjoy that sort of thing, there is also a Mah-jongg sort of mini-game, and there are hidden owls to find in many levels. The game can be played on Easy, Normal or Difficult, and this determines how many stars you get per level and how much time you have. I always recommend playing it once through on Easy for Achievements and to enjoy the story, and then once through on Normal or Hard to see how clever you are at the puzzle element of what to gather and build and when so as to zip through the level as fast as possible. When you are done, there are optional bonus levels to play. As with many games in the series, there is a built-in walk-through in the main menu, free wallpapers, etc. Special bonus note: if you picked up most of the Viking Brothers bundle already, the game is basically half-priced if you just need it to complete the Viking Heroes bundle.

Now that I'm used to it, it's a game I'm used to enough to proceed without a guide, even without a Korean translation. It consists of a main stage and a bonus stage, and there is a mahjong-style game that matches the same picture in the middle. In terms of obtaining 3 stars, the game of matching the same picture at the end was the most difficult. It is recommended to purchase when it is discounted.

There is a story in this game, but it is a very light one and I didn't pay much attention to it. I love that you can play on the easiest difficulty, which gives no stress about time and you're still able to complete all the achievements in the game. For completion, you'll just need to finish the game and its bonus levels. It has 54 levels in the main game and 16 in the bonus chapter. The levels in this bonus chapter are a bit more complicated than those in the main game. It also has 2 mini-games. One is with the inns where you play a mah-jong kind of game. You don't need to do those for completion if you don't like them. The other one is a sliding mini-game. I really disliked that mini-game, but you have to do them to be able to progress in the story. Gladly there are only a few (I would say like 4 or 5) of those in the game, so it isn't too bad at all. I still did like this game in short bursts, just a few levels each day. I would recommend it if you enjoy this type of time-management games.

Viking Heroes is a casual/time management game developed by Yustas Game Studio and published by Alawar Entertainment on the 16th of April 2020 on the Steam platform. The game consists of 54 levels for the main campaign, and an extra 16 levels will unlock after beating the game. Personally, it is the first game of the series that I have had the pleasure to play. Alawar Entertainment actually has many of this type of game within their portfolio, so if you played one of the previous Viking Brothers or Viking Sister’s games, you’ll know what to expect. After creating your profile and selecting your level of difficulty, from Easy to Hard (where Easy has no time limits while Normal and Hard do), you will be prompted by a small introduction and then you’ll be straight into the thick of it. For each level, you will have 3 to 4 tasks to complete in order to win. What is fun in this game (apart from the story) is that each of your Vikings has specific abilities. Helga is a master of magic, and she can transform gems into foods and other resources and vice versa. Everand is the strongest brother of the two and can smash huge rocks, while Boromer and Brunnhilde are the fighters and will take care of Storm Spirits, Thunder Giants as well as the Pink Crystals which creates Storm Spirits. At the start of each of the levels, you’ll have one Viking worker at your disposal. Your starting point will either be on your Drakkar or in the Viking camp. Each of the levels will be laid with paths, and on these paths, you’ll have resources to pick up or obstacles to clear so you can access and build a resource, such as a farm or a sawmill, to increase your resources. That is because each of your actions will cost you a certain number of resources to execute. Most of the levels will have one of the sibling’s house to build before you can use them and their skills. So, make sure you study the map before clicking on one of the resources or obstacles laid out on these paths; as soon as you action your worker, the countdown will start. You’ll have a bit of help in the form of a gauge which will gradually fill in as you play. On that gauge, you’ll have one to three icons, which could be a shoe with feathers, resources, or a sand timer. Sometimes you have one and other times you might have three icons on this gauge. When the icon becomes gold, you can activate it; if you click on the sand timer, it will stop the countdown for a while, and if you click on the shoe with feathers, your workers and heroes will run faster for a certain period of time. The resources icon will add more food, wood or stones to your resources. You’ll also have a couple of mini games throughout your playthrough; one is a bit like a Mahjong game, and the other requires you to catch falling items in a vase. There are also 21 owls to find, hidden within some of the levels. It will take you around 10 hours to finish the main story on the normal difficulty, and you’ll unlock another 16 levels after that, which I think is pretty good for this genre of game. Good graphics and the soundtrack is ok. In terms of controls, you’ll be using your mouse all the way. Personally, I really enjoy the game and its story.
