About
Lead your troops to victory in a huge open world set in the Vietnam War.
Play as U.S. or Vietcong / N.V.A. on an ever changing battlefield where other units move and fight independently of player.
Command your squad to follow, stay, attack and change formations etc.

Missions of various types are provided based on the situation in the area. However, there is no story or main mission progression.
Use radios to request airstrikes, artillery support, reinforcements and supplies.

Patrol the Mekong delta and lush river valleys. Search and destroy the enemies in dense jungles and defend the hilltop fire bases. Protect loyal villages from enemy infiltration or teach them the price of betrayal.
Build perimeter defenses. Eat, drink and smoke to calm the nerves, or pop pills to feel energized.
Keep an eye out for booby traps, tigers, snakes and critters as you root out tunnels and hidden fortifications in the jungles. Avoid capture or become a P.O.W.

Bomb the Ho Chi Minh Trail or lead special forces across the border into Laos and Cambodia to disrupt enemy supplies.
The game features one huge 1000+ km2 map that covers North and South Vietnam, and large parts of Laos and Cambodia with hundreds of manually built bases and villages.

Fly jets or gunships, or man the door guns. Pound the enemy using tanks and artillery and a vast arsenal of weapons.

The game has been nonstop fun so far and has amazing potential. The graphics make the game funny, but the immersion, combat, and variety is off the charts. Welcome to the jungle.
This is by NO MEANS a finished game!! That said... it might be a new favorite. First impressions? Absolute horror show. This game wastes no time in putting its buggy, messy, unfinished nature on full display in the form of its sinfully ugly menu. You load in, and immediately everything is lagging--even on a great system, even on lowest graphics--constant freezes where you have to tap escape and pray that you paused the game before getting shot or losing control of your aircraft... Even the most essential feature to an FPS game, movement is a floaty, buggy piece of garbage that puts your patience to the test. I was so, so tempted to return it. Then, it started snowballing in all the features and mechanics. Capture points were unique from one another--some easy as cake and others tough as nails. I felt a real sense of progression as I coated the map in completed objective points. I slowly learned more of the mechanics involved in guiding your troops, starting to use them to clean up the infinitely-spawning enemies that were drowning me when I was fighting alone. And now? I'm only ~12 victory points away from winning the map! After that, I plan to play through as the VC instead. I feel like I've Stockholm Syndrome'd myself into even enjoying the floaty, choppy movement. It, in a weird way, does manage to capture the relative difficulty of traversing different terrain. If you're buying this expecting a finished game? Wait. Just wait. If you're interested to see a game evolve from the ground up? IDK this one might be a safe bet. I usually hate early-access games, but I'm going to keep an eye on this one. I'm getting similar vibes to when I first started playing Minecraft back in 2010, and if the dev is consistent with updates and improvements, this game has a lot of potential. Thorium!! If you're reading this, I will support your game further through donation, if possible. Features/fixes I would like to see: -Improved movement -Improved performance/less freezing -Eventually remove the AI assets -Online lobbies between friends -Helicopters sometimes spawn on top of existing helicopters, causing them to collide, flip, and explode when used -Ability to use the flashlight without a secondary weapon, or with your melee weapon

i love vietnam wra
game is awesome! it needs Coop badly
This game really is amazing, its got its jankyness but its all made by a SOLO! dev he needs the support for what his doing
Remarkable game from what little I played, but the dev has put little to no effort into improving UI, controls, or gameplay. Every update and future update is about 'more content' without actually improving or polishing the already insane volume of content. I'm no stranger to janky games, but this makes early Roblox games look like triple A titles. The jank is REALLY bad in an unfun way. The UI is probably the worst part though. I don't think I've ever seen such a basic and barebones UI in such a complicated game before. That's a bad thing. I don't need fluff in my UI but I do need it to be usable. This...is not usable. Oh yeah and monkeys can kill you in armored vehicles and you can go to Siberia for some reason even though the Vietnam part of the game is far from finished.
Its a fun game, but a little buggy
Needs some work but good fun.
Love the game. Dev needs to chill on the add ons and focus on smoothing it out though. I'm having a lot of fun till the game crashes. Game is full of quirky sayings and calling air support is a gamble. My character gained faith because i called in naplam and it hit the village i was in instead of the target. Could be a war crime simulator at times, then you end up in a wheelchair. Def buy when it gets polished, until then its a fun on sale game.
