This is a fun little game of logistics management.
This is a really well-designed set of game rules. This is an awful ipad port. No wasd, can't rebind from arrow keys, no other hotkeys. Moving the mouse is painful but not as painful as the constant clicking to achieve anything. My right arm's going numb after playing this for a few hours. I've read some great reviews of this series, but I won't be trying the sequel if this is the quality. No wasd. The map moves to center on every unit you move. Moving with the right mouse is backwards and slides around, moving with middle mouse is jumpy and inconsistent. The scrollable window you select units from is minute and the scrolling is not smooth. You need to use this constantly when doing basic operations like moving units with helicopters. I'd miss this one.
A bit complicated to learn but once you understand the game mechanics it becomes very enjoyable. Great turn-based counter-insurgency gameplay.
Easy to play and I like
Confusing at first, but its a fun game once you understand it
Too many design decisions that just make it more tedious than fun. The game's core rules only really seem to apply to you. It takes too long for any impactful strategy to matter, so most of it is just wandering aimlessly looking for a fight. Resources drain too quickly. Your most important assets are useless in a fight. Too repetitive. A single missclick can absolutely devastate your turn.
great game except I hate how you will unintentionally move your units if you don't right click to deselect them.
Vraiment nul !!!! Vraiment déçu alors que mon attente n'était pas au max aucune animation on s'ennuie l'aspect tactique n'est pas ouf non plus N'achetez pas
ive been playing this game for 15 yrs. love it.
A simple turn-based game with nevertheless captures the challenges of fighting an asymmetrical war against a sometimes invisible enemy. It's enjoyable & challenging, and reminds me of an old-school board wargame, except that the computer does all the math & donkeywork for you. Period-appropriate graphics & sound add to the ambience. Feels like you are there.
