Victor Vran ARPG

Was mir besonders gut gefällt ist die Story und die Begleitung durch die "Stimme". Was nicht so meins ist: Dass man sich nicht auf eine Waffe festlegen kann/sollte.

I played this game CO-OP and it was spectacular. A really fun ARPG to play, it's got a nice story, great combat, and overall, with a friend by your side, a great time :)

[h1]Victor Vran[/h1] I played Victor Vran years ago and I didn't know how good I had it. I've never seen an ARPG quite similar to it. Victor Vran is one of the best ARPGs out there, with a few caveats. First of all, the core gameplay is solid. Shooting and melee weapons feel really nice. There's just something special about being able to maneuver around enemies with a combination of melee, guns and special attacks. I also really like the roll mechanic, as it makes the whole "shoot and dodge" combat flow feel more natural. I like to clear mobs by first shooting them with a shotgun from a distance and then using special attacks with the hammer. This game really lets you clear mobs effectively if you use them in quick succession. There are three different classes that vary in how overdrive works, but I like to use the Bounty Hunter class for the default style of gameplay. And personally I think this game just gets better the more you progress. By the end you have amazing guns at your disposal and can test different weapons to find the right ones for your playstyle. Now for the negatives. Hard difficulty is just too difficult, meaning that all the hexes (curses) are enabled, and enemies have a huge amount of regeneration and armor from the start. Fights can take a really long time because you simply lack the proper firepower. That's why I don't recommend hard difficulty, as you can just use the hexes you want on normal mode. This game is also quite linear and restricted compared to many other ARPGs. You can finish the game when your character is only a little over level 30. Most of the time you'll be using two weapons that have basic and special attack modes, so there's a lot of grinding and not much inventory management. But still I think it's a great game that's worth giving a shot. This game actually has a pretty interesting story and ever-changing enemy types, so it doesn't get boring. [b]Final score: 8.5/10.[/b]

5/10 + graphics looks ok + witcher Geralt's voice as main character voice + climatic music + can be rushed if you dont want to do all side quests and challenges - barely enyojable character progression - feels very flat with the history and main plot - couple low budget decisions which kind of ruined to whole experiance - game first gives options to choose favorite weapon and then makes most challenges and secondary achievments based on other weapons - I wasn't eager to explore all locations since game poorly rewards player for searching upgrades
