Vicky Saves the Big Dumb World

This game is way too much fun :D I love the atmosphere.... especially the soundtrack... boss music is hella dope. If I had friends I'd buy them this game. It has a simplicity to it and reminds me of a lot of the older platformers I used to play growing up during the mid eightie's and nineties... You'd be doing yourself a HUGE favor picking up this gem. I'm totally going to do a stream of this... it is wicked fun to watch...

[h1]Нет.[/h1] Почему нет? С виду хороший платформер. Первый раз когда сыграл в него не понравлось управление. Да, здесь желательно иметь джойстик. В тот раз у меня его не было, в этот раз был и все равно... с этой игрой что-то не так. Или просто платформеры это не мое. Сама игра выглядит привлекательно, но умирать тут придется первое время очень часто. И утомляет не сам геймплей, а сколько вот это переигрывание. Бывает что кнопка прыжка не всегда срабатывает и ты падаешь в такое место, откуда уже будет проблемно, либо никак не выбраться. Приходится прыгать в лаву и загружаться с последнего чекпоинта. Мне лично эта игра не зашла. Поиграть можно, чисто когда делать, уже собственно, нечего и сложные сюжетные игры вам не доставляют удовольствия. Jump key doesn't work half the time, lame, very lame. And the platforms that go up and down except for when you jump on to them, that's just annoying. Games should be fun, not annoying. Not recommended until the controls work properly.

Good platformer. Fun, cheap, nice graphic style.

Threw my controller on the ground after Level 4. That could be a good gauge of how annoying a platformer is. The jumping is kind of crappy and not as responsive as the level design would demand. Vicky should've probably put in some cardio, used a trampoline and done some squats before this damn game began, because the ability to DUCK in a platformer with somewhat unresponsive jumping would've been really helpful. Also, the checkpoint mechanic is kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥, because all it really does is respawn you, any enemies out and about chasing you before your death and respawn will still be there. But, I can't fault this game too much, I got it for 50 cents, it's usually an €... and it is visually kind of interesting and quirky. Not so bad I would hate it. I would probably hate it if they asked 5 or 10 € for it, but for what it is, it's totally fine. It just could've used some more polish for a platformer.

Описание: Платформер в треш мире. Именно так и слово треш стоит на месте. Мы играем за "милую девчушку", которая мочит монстров, бегает по порталам и собирает яблоки. Геймплей очень динамичный, уровни проработанные и интересные. Есть два режима сложности и если честно сложно даже на самом легком, а без сохранений это отдельный челендж для любителей настоящий испытаний. По ходу игры открываются умения, которые помогут проходить начальные уровни немного проще, но это все равно будет ад... Честно говоря перед обзором зашел на страничку с игрой и удивился цене в 1 доллар, она должна стоить дороже раз в пять минимум... Тут контента не на один вечер и видно, что разработчики очень старались. Я провел уйму времени и остановился на последнем мире ну и 11 яблок собрал попутно. Прошел бы до конца если бы имел больше времени, тут игра сьедает его полностью. Рекомендую. Оценка: 6/10

Broken. Judging by the intro the game was low quality. Amateur narrator sped up twice to make a cartoony voice, rushed tiny art pieces in a mock sketch book to represent the "action". I cant even click on the only one button in the menu. The play button. The cursor for windows just overlaid on top. Nothing responds. Conclusion: Removing permanently for declutter. Not worth troubleshooting, probably would have to discard due to low quality even if it did work.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
