I played this with my boyfriend and we both loved it. the story was very engaging and extremely heartfelt <3 the cooking was very satisfying - I especially loved the sound design when you added the ingredients! and the art style was gorgeous :3 Overall this game was extremely immersive, especially as someone who adores cooking. there were many recipes i would be interested in trying... and I can because they include the irl recipes after you complete them!! 10/10 - for sure the world's most engaging cookbook XD and I would highly recommend!

Beautiful artwork, amazing soundtrack, great storytelling and recipes that i 100% want to remake. I LOVED this.

A touching short story with some cooking elements about immigration and culture through the eyes of food. Played it on my steam deck and had no issues during it. The game is really short so I'd wait for a sale to grab it as it only takes 2 hours ish to 100% the whole thing and get all the achievements.

It's a very short game, but very touching. As an immigrant myself, sometimes it's wonderful seeing the perspectives and stories of other immigrants. Venba offers a look into what an immigrant mother feels like, and it encouraged me to reach out and talk to my own. The sacrifices families have to deal with, and the way diaspora children never feel like they belong in either place. It's a simple story, but an effective one. It was also wonderful getting to learn about Tamil culture! I'm not someone overly familiar with India, and learning a bit more about about the culture, music, and clothing was all wonderful. I look forward to the second game and wish the dev team the very best ))
