Almost 10 years and it's still pretty much my favorite game in VR. Hover racing but with real physics sim (not arcade controls) and racing over a real landscape is something I haven't found anywhere else, though I really wish there were more games like this! I would love a DLC or sequel with additional tracks and environments. We might have to leave mars to do it, but racing through a forest and/or a city would be really cool. Mapping the controls to a HOTAS with the throttle set to the Bias control makes it the most active game to move the throttle around, which is really fun. Ugh I just love this game.
This is an immersive VR sci-fi racing experience, I'm hooked!! I haven't even began to tinker with my skimmer yet, I've gone in to practice mode to get comfortable with the controls and flight experience and can already tell this game will be joy to master. It's easy to keep the skimmer in the air but that's not the point of racing these skimmers it's all about maintaining high-speed at low altitude and that's a rewarding experience. My setup is Valve Index, Flight Stick and Pedals. On a RTX 3090 i'm maintaining 90 fps around 98% of the time.

I dont have VR just a potato PC. This game is a dream come true.
This game is amazing and needs more attention! This is the only game like this i have ever played and so far I am 100% satisfied with the entire concept of it.
This feels a bit like Kerbal Space Program turned into a VR racing game. It does have a rather steep learning curve - the editor is quite in depth and things like weight distribution, thrust vectors, and all that stuff matters. It gives you a lot of freedom to customize your craft, but unless it's done well you'll just nosedive into the ground. Once you're in the game, you're probably best off doing the tutorial and then going back out into the main menu. There you'll find "instant" races at the top of the menu. These don't cost you money when you crash, they give you a stock craft better than your career mode starter one, and they let you choose a difficulty level (Hard seems to be about where the career races sit). You can do these a few times (I farmed medium a bit) to practice and you also gain a small amount of money to use in career mode. That'll let you buy a better craft to use there (the next step up from the starter is the one you get in the instant races). Just don't play with the VR motion controls. They're really hard to use. A controller works well for me, but a HOTAS setup would probably also get the job done.
Come simulatore di corse spaziali è validissimo
VR用户别买。 自己看看VR的视角定在哪儿吧,根本进不了驾驶舱,也没有任何可以校准的入口。
