A super realistic surf simulation with stunning graphics. Very free camera options allow you to watch the beautiful breaking waves from inside and outside in every angle. Soak in waves, do aerials and much more.

Guys, please, you need to release the VR version of this game, it will be incredible. imagine 20 people in a map off the coast of hawaii, competing for or sharing waves. please!
This is my first game review and I am writing this in particular because I think this game deserves a better rating. I just purchased the 2.0 update on sale and don't have any experience with the previous versions. I've played most of the other surfing games on steam and this one is the best. The graphics and physics are most realistic and the water animation is amazing. It's not too cartoony, and the gameplay is fun. It feels pretty realistic, especially first person mode, and one could spend a lot of time just playing free surf for relaxation. The controls with weight distribution feel intuitive and I'm really glad not to have to memorize obscure key combos to pull off a move (I hate that), as the emphasis is on real life physics. I do wish that in first person mode, where camera control is much more important, there could be a wider camera range that would better simulate the range of looking around in real surfing, it currently feels restricted. There are a few minor bugs and some animation seems unfinished, but as it is the game is very playable. I'm playing on a steam deck and it works quite well with graphics set to medium. The fan does run the entire time though. I really like this game a lot and am looking forward to seeing continued improvements.
Hands down best surf sim I have played. I have surfed for 30 years and this is awesome! A lot of neg reviews early on but now it seems to be fixed! I tried messing with this in vr with VorpX its pretty cool but dam I would love this in actual VR! Getting barreled in first person is awesome. Game feels good but need a beefy PC for maxed settings, i'm on 9800x3d with 4090 getting 100 FPS and it looks beautiful! GG dev!!!
This game is great. For some reason, otherwise well-intentioned people leave negative reviews on one-of-a-kind Steam games like this - thinking their thumbs down and critiques will make the game better. NEWSFLASH: It Doesn't. Your thumbs down is dissuading not only other people from buying the game, but also the dev from continuing to work on the game. This logic also applies to Undisputed (a great boxing game - and one of the only boxing games on the market - that is rated "mixed" on the Steam store)... I'm drawing this parallel because both boxing and surfing are relatively niche interests that do not often get representation in video games. I say that to say: I almost didn't buy this game because it was rated "mixed" It's important to note that I got this game on sale for $6 With that being said, this is a phenomenal low-stakes arcade game. A perfect time-waster. It takes me back to the days of playing flash games in the computer lab in the early 2000's. Bare-bones, simple, fun If you like surfing, get this game If you like boxing, get Undisputed Don't let these cynical, overcritical reviews stop you -- $30 is a little steep though tbh... maybe it's a tiny dev team, and since they're one of the only devs actually working on a surfing game and dedicating their time to this, they deserve your support)
I absolutely like the feeling of this game! And I am saying this as a (forever beginner^^) surfer. I was looking for a nice and calm surfing game. Here and there a little bumpy with the controls or the camera view but all in all a really cool surfing game!
The graphics are good. The camera's are difficult as hell to control. They have the Banzai Pipeline in north shore Hawaii breaking the wrong direction. LOL. And there's apparently no way to push forward on the board to be fast enough to even make it out of the pipe so you always get washed and bail anyway. This game may be worth the money if the devs do their research on surfing to make things more accurate but that will probably be like a year or some unreasonable amount of time. I'll keep it, but I wouldn't recommend buying it in it's current state. Right now, it's kind of like a Mallard Duck trying to lay eggs on an ice rink at a Bruins game. Lmao
I've been surfing for over 20 years. I never thought any game could come anywhere close to approximating what it actually feels like to surf. To my astonishment, playing this in first person does actually invoke a feeling similar to riding a wave. I think this is the closest you're going to get in a game to real surfing. VR might get you closer but I suspect the motion sickness would be especially heinous.
This game has to be the most unrealistic surf game out, the board movements are just spastic, moving around at light speed, the waves are just the same crap, copy and pasted, not worth it you will want to uninstall at least a couple hours after you first play it.
Decided to see what a surfing game looks like in 2025... Utterly abysmal. Truly miserable experience.
the game is like ok but it is definitely not worth 30 dollars, dont buy it trust me
