About
There's a killer with a keen eye and a thirst for blood stalking this city, and a hard-boiled detective losing his sanity trying to catch him.
In Sniper Killer, you take on the role of both Detective Comardy and the cryptic "Sniper Killer" as the story unravels after each victim has their brains splattered across the ground by a well placed shot. From the scummy streets of the city to the state carnival, no location is safe from the Sniper's watchful eye.
How does he choose his victims? Does he have a motive for these seemingly random acts of atrocities? Can the burnt-out detective solve this case before even more bodies start piling up? This retro horror thriller is enough to make any true-crime fans pick up their detective hats and start searching for clues. Can you solve the case in time? Or will your head be just another target for the Sniper Killer?

the game tanks in performance when you get to the parade level
Somehow actually worth it's price despite being only 2 hours long. Get this ♥♥♥♥
The entire stylization and atmosphere of this game perfectly match the concept; the characters are memorable, and the plot, even though it's a cliché (if you pay attention to the details you'll probably figure out where the story is going), is still very good and very well done. Sniper Killer, in my opinion, would make a great horror movie script, in the style of 80s/90s slasher films. It's a game that's well worth playing at least once to enjoy the experience – it's definitely worth it.
I am mentally stable and can be trusted with a firearm around other people!
The concept for this game is really cool and it's a really fun experience. It's a pretty quick game, only taking a few hours, and it's not that hard to get all of the achievements. The horror aspects are thrilling. The sniper moments are exciting and unique with each chapter. The detective moments are also enjoyable, with it being fun to explore the crime scenes, look over evidence, and speak to different witnesses and colleagues. It's fun if you're a more casual player looking for a short, fun, and unique horror/detective/hitman experience.
Enjoyed it overall but this is more of a "thumbs sideways" game than a "thumbs up" game. But obviously, there´s not an option for that. The story was great, the gameplay too for the most part, but I experienced a tank in FPS in the last sniping mission, which at first prevented me from unlocking 2 achievements, but when I retried the mission later it ran fine and the achievements did unlock (thank f*ck). That being said, the final boss was terrible. And just a word of advice, stay away from the bonus missions. I´ve only played the first 2 but they were so broken that they probably took some years off my life expectancy.
Шикарный хоррор в vhs/ps1-2 стилистике. Интересный сюжет и исполнение на высоте, любителям инди хорроров советую очень к ознакомлению.
Best indie game I have played in a while
Enjoyable, short and cute psychological horror game. The shooting mechanic is well-designed and fun. The game is very linear, but it’s more of a story-driven 3D adventure with an emphasis on the plot and its presentation, plus, there are actually some mechanically engaging moments when you play as the killer. The game constantly tries to scare you, one moment the hotel concierge is rambling about what it would be like to be a serial killer, the next the lights in the elevator suddenly go out and then come back on, and then there’s your neighbor, some creepy, tall Slender Man-type character living in the woods, or a creepy, eyeless guy is trying to scare you, even though you're playing as the titular sniper killer. I’d say the game tries too hard, but in reality, it’s just part of its overall style and charm. It’s obvious that the game goes overboard with everything, the faces stretched over 3D character models, the sloppy-looking interface, and the jump scares at every turn, it’s all simply part of a unified horror-comedy style. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the game often feels a bit repetitive. I understand that’s part of the style, but you see the same scene both before and after completing a task, and in the “after” section, it usually just recaps what you did, it’s repetition for the sake of repetition without much new information. But the game is very short, and just about when this starts to get annoying, it either adds some interesting twist to the formula or simply wraps up. Overall, it’s a great project if you like short, story-driven horror games, such as Fears to Fathom series or Puppet Combo games.
