Really fast-paced game with lots of kicking powered by your thrusters, with a hint of tobacco addiction from the main character. This game is really fast-paced, as your sprint is literally you using your thruster, which is NEEDED to dodge the enemies' attacks of 15+ enemies targeting you or one enemy launching a barrage of missiles. The story is alright with some humor, but I kinda lost the plot near the end (2nd last boss fight). What I did not like was the long intro cutscene of you boarding the colony, or that it places you into a complete battlefield, despite the previous cutscene not ending in an ambush, but you just vibing. Oh, I wish the game told me this, but you can distract enemies with your cigar, which I realized too late as I finished the game.
Fun, action-packed fps. Another great Platinum game.

♥♥♥♥ the plot, you're playing a testosterone fantasy. Board a station, kill bad guys, kill some more bad guys, have a smoke while you're at it.
Such an absolute gem. Games like this were made in an era when developers had to actually put out polished and completed products with belief in their own visions. It's a super fast-paced, comical shooter. Everything is so over-the-top yet enjoyable, especially the banter. The level design is gorgeous. Everything going on in the background is nuts, especially when you're on high speed trains and can see your destinations very far out come closer as you move in the cities.
Maybe not the most artistic third person shooter made, but without a doubt the most fun I've ever had with a cover shooter and as such, an easy addition to my top twenty of all time
