Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 21 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A piece of art during his time, a nostalgic classic that still packs a punch^^ Recommendable if you like classic 3rd Person Shooters which can be hard at times :)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the greats from the PS3, unique and fast.
I don't think I'm surprising anyone by saying that PlatinumGames has made a fun action game here - at this point, it's something to be expected. My praise for Vanquish comes from concepts: it's a refreshing take on seventh gen third-person shooters, where speed and power management take precedence over hiding and waiting. After fumbling through the first few levels, the game finally clicked for me: I began to see new areas as gardens of opportunity rather than simple arenas to shoot through. Accelerating at top speed, slamming boots-first into a robot's face, slowing down time to shoot on the fall down... It's exhilarating stuff. There was never a time in the game where the combat felt explicitly unfair: the wide range of weapons, movement options, and open areas gave a ton of wiggle room. The tools are always there, and it's up to you to utilize them best. The upgrade system encourages the player to pick favorites, and helps cement a playstyle that works for you. I favored the assault rifle and sniper, but I can just as easily see someone maxing out heavier and/or more niche armaments. Definitely going to come back to this one someday and play it on a harder difficulty.
Jogaço da SEGA... História boa, bastante ação, a gameplay é divertida, muito bom.
Just a blast all throughout the campaign. A short and sweet title that still holds up extremely well even today. Definitely a pick up if you like fast-paced games, cover shooters, and third person shooters. Vanquish isn't the most complex, fleshed out game I've played but it's a really fun time the whole way through and I think it deserves more recognition. This game is almost a hybrid between Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Gears of War, it's a really fun formula that results in a unique badass game the whole way through. The gameplay of Vanquish is excellent IF you tackle it with the correct approach, try to do cool silly things instead of hiding behind cover, it really amplified the experience for me and a lot of other people. The core gameplay consists of playing a mission defeating robots in the coolest ways possible, you have a few different weapons to toy around with and some other toys such as a rocket slide, boost dodge, boost kick and more. Oh yeah, also the main attraction, the bullet-time which allows you to do some really cool looking fight scenes which feel amazing to pull off. The level design is very linear but the game gives you a handful of different weapons, mission types, and scenarios that challenge you to use everything at your disposal. The game isn't bursting with content and is about 6-7ish hours for the main story but man those 6-7 hours are super fun. Vanquish was directed by Shinji Mikami who you also may know as the director of The Evil Within 1, Resident Evil 1, and Dino Crisis. All of which are either horror games or PS1 games so it's really impressive how he was able to create Vanquish without any expertise or practice in the genre. The story is whatever, really forgettable but the characters are pretty cool all with their own personalities and motives. The lines these characters say got quite a few laughs out of me throughout my experience too. But yeah, the story is mediocre in my opinion, if you are looking for a deep and complex story, you won't find it here. It's very evident that the developers focused more on the gameplay than anything else, it's a perfectly servicable story that doesn't draw too much attention to itself letting you enjoy the gameplay. I also wanna quickly touch on the art direction / music for a sec. The OST is pretty good and is composed by Erina Niwa who you might know the composer of the Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways and Bayonetta OST's. Her music is quite nice and it's also nice to see her getting back into her passion from the 13 year long break between the Vanquish OST in 2010 and RE4 Remake DLC's OST in 2023. The art direction is decently nice to look at, it's quite dim and gritty just like the Gears of War games with some of the highlights on screen being a very bright colour such as the enemies, projectiles, and characters. It's not the most appealing thing to look at but it amplifies the experience while you're playing ten fold. Overall, really cool and fun game. I'd recommend checking it out if you're even slightly curious, it's a fun time, trust me. It goes on sale quite regularly for 70% off and even at full price it's an extremely fun experience. I also did a little research for this review, sorry if I got anything wrong lol.
It's a short but very rewarding game. Fast paced and fun. The voice acting is entertaining. I like how the machine gun goes "bulbulbul".
Shooter frenético, pulido y muy entretenido. Una experiencia de acción pura y mecanicas que disfruté bastante. Totalmente recomendado. (nada como hacer drift con el traje y fumarse un cigarrillo)
Oh Vanquish, how you take me back to just being a girl borrowing her Dad's XBOX again. I appreciate it more now of course, seeing that I actually understand what I'm doing instead of running around shooting walls.
