About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

great game, story becomes tedious with flashbacks but worth playing
Really fun game, I liked the story and gameplay. I think the only reason this game gets so much flack is because of the Bloodlines 2 subtitle. This game could have never lived up to the expectations people built up in their heads for the past 20years. Give it a shot when it's on sale, because it's definitely a good deal for 50% off.
20 FPS on low graphics settings 😭
Bloodlines 2 is a middle-of-the-pack action game in a tough market. You have a free-roam city, linear gameplay with minor optionalities and choices for flavor. Overall I thought it had some really solid ambitious qualities while being trapped in design principles that sadly didn't pan out to a fully matured game. Pros: - A wickedly framed story. - Functional overland city traversal. Not great at: - Entertaining, emergent gameplay elements. - Having a central city with a soul. - Pacing the gameplay loop. - Introducing new mechanics throughout. Often developers express that there's a valley of awfulness where games that aim for world simulation dwell until the very near end of their development. There's parts of that awfulness exposed here - it's hard to say what should have been added, but a lot of content could have been cut to make it a better game. You'd unfortunately be biting into the arteries and end up with another rebuild.
I went into this knowing full well it isn't anything like Bloodlines 1. I thought, "Hey, I haven't played the first one and thus am not all that attached to its legacy, I know ahead of time it isn't a full RPG, I bet the more action oriented gameplay will still be lots of fun." I was wrong. The game just isn't fun. The combat feels clunky, the story is too boring for me to get invested in, and the game just feels empty and lifeless. The best I can give is a 4/10.
It's fine if you've never played the first game, followed what was initially promised, or waited for it's release.
Woke and gay.
This is actually amazing, im new to the franchise, I honestly dont know why this game has mixed reviews, the game is really good especially if u play this in 3d which I did. The open world feels kinda empty but its not a sandbox really, its fighting focus game. Clear out waves of enemies trying out different builds. Plus you are a kindred vampire! Its a 7/10 game, cons: open wolrd is kinda empty and the customization system is not that great plus the autosave ruined the rpg because you can save scam the system. It should've saved right after your answer to npc's.
WHAT A RIDE! I am a big fan of WoD, and this is without a doubt one of the very best WoD ever made up to this point. In fact, if this Game would have been Named something like ( Vampire the Masquerade - Nomad ) It would have been adored AF by fans and casuals alike. It plays completely different from the Bloodlines 1, and that what made the fans angry. This game plays like a mix of Dishonored + Condemned: Criminal Origins + Darkness. Which I really liked personally. This is is what I liked, and Disliked. PROS: -Amazing combat. Played at high difficulty and really had to go John Wick in many occasions with ultra fast improvisation and unarmed + weapon + surrounding items use. -Winter atmosphere of Seattle was captured really well. I felt some cold even during this hot summer. -Story is a really good NOIR Detective story, and had me in the loops many times, every time I thought I got it I actually had it wrong. -Characters are really well made, in best WoD traditions. -Bet of Night radio show had me hooked, and overall the spirit of Bloodlines 1 is there in several aspects. -Mentions and returning characters from Bloodline 1. -Gliding around the city and traversal was really refreshing and intersting. CONS -I wish there was more of a choice in several things in the story. -Re-use of several assets. -I wish there was a bigger hub. -Side-missions are not really there, they are not meaningful and just for a tick. -The ending I got was not really expanded on.
