Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game I remembered playing a demo for back on PS3 when my family first bought it in 2008, and the visuals alone blew me away... Looking somehow hand-drawn yet clearly 3D, cell-shaded as well... It's one of the most gorgeous games of its generation truly. It also has great gameplay for those who love strategy games and JRPGs, on top of an amazing storyline, and while I've only got past the half-way mark of the story so far, it is DEFINITELY gonna be interesting to see how it continues in the PSP sequels, and eventually also checking out the newest entry with Valkyria Chronicles 4! Update after finishing: I eventually finished it after powering through the final stretch, and ended up finding this to be one of my favorite JRPG games ever now. I'm truly shocked SEGA doesn't push this franchise more, whether it's new entries or remasters, but it's a shame for how Valkyria Chronicles 3 never had an official localization. The gameplay mechanics are amazing I find, full of an engaging storyline from front to back, helping each individual soldier in the world feel real, as if they have a genuine depth given to each one. Despite how much I went out of my way to try and not have a character die in the whole playthrough, it was because I still didn't want to see that happen to any character in this universe. I moreso just wished that the anime could have been well handled, as I was initially excited to hear how it was with an anime adaptation, all to then hear how it didn't care to be as accurate of an adaptation in the end... That they had a lot of the cast members sadly not return, on top of the story changing in ways that wasn't as engaging in the end sadly. In the end, the only way to experience it, and right, is with the remaster. 10/10 Instant Classic!

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I actually played VC2, VC3 and then this. I own a psp, and I just got the time to play VC1. Based off general combat this has bigger maps, easy personnel & weapons upgrade. VC2's personnel is much worse and the 3rd is even harder. But this review isn't for VC2 nor VC3. Combat and leveling wise I give the trophy to VC1. But the tanks suck so much I could have a civilian do his job even better. (Also the 'Main Characters' the ones with medals suck balls so hard I only deploy them for extra APs. Thank god VC2 & VC3 fixed it) You would very much cheese this game, as you get higher ranks (easier in the long run). The problem with this game is the difficulty spikes (notably chapter 7, chapter 16 and chapter 18) and you're either forced to Skirmish to FARM exp so you can beat it easier. VC2 & VC3 doesn't have much or it isnt notable. If you are reading this and contemplating which VC to pick; VC1: Bigger maps, easy weapons upgrade, HD (wow), basic aim, and high levelled crews eliminates RNG, also easy to get potentials Tanks are ♥♥♥♥ and non customizable, difficulty spikes is higher than my sugar spike VC2: Maps are smaller, weapons are locked behind Aces, levelling up mastery Potentials are RNG, Directional aim (Aiming behind them eliminates evasion), tanks are customizable, no notable difficulty spike VC3: Same as VC2, but levelling up crew is more RNG than even depends on your crew's class (yes VC3 every char can change class), the tank is customizable. Great story + VC1 and VC2's char have cameos in this. The ending also depends on your choice. GIve it Scouts are broken (Alicia is just a super soldier) (it's 6) out of 10 but that's because I already played all 3.
the gameplay is simple yet challenging as you try to make the most out of every action point. every mission makes you learn on your own mistakes and come up with different strategies. the themes of standing together against a greater enemy with no morals and fighting for your home really resonated with me since i'm ukrainian and made me connect even more deeply with its already well-written characters. i'm glad that this game was my introduction to turn-based single player games and i will definitely look differently on the genre after playing it.
Un jeu à part entière qui offre une expérience entre le RPG rétro ♥♥♥ traditionnel et un récit d'histoire alternative fantaisiste. Bon jeu
A refreshing take on the JSRPG genre. The movement style adds so much to the playability; where a lot of SRPGs feel slow or stale, this feels really action-packed. Probably a good fit for anyone who liked Advance Wars back in the day. It's fun to replay the skirmishes and try to get better scores - I struggle to get Bs but have a good time nonetheless. Looking forward to 4.
Squad 7, move out!
Very interesting from the beginning. Becomes extremely boring.
