Really good game for the price, me and my brother play multiplayer and it's good. 10/10
I think the game has a lot of potential if you play it for a while. But before you get to that point, I’m just overwhelmed by all the options. The game is already too exhausting for me right from the start. I wish it focused on the essentials so I wouldn’t have to worry about how to design a room. I want to design a game, not be an interior designer! The menu navigation is counterintuitive or confusing, which only adds to my frustration. A longer tutorial would have been helpful, too.
If you ever played Game Dev Tycoon then you have stumbled onto a game that is just a direct upgrade. It's fantastic with a lot going on. There is multiplayer, you can compete with your friends(if you have them) with who can be the best game company or who can bankrupt themselves the quickest by focusing on Vocabulary Action games only. RIP When Vowels Attack; As a game franchise you never made money but you were funny. Mad Game Dev Tycoon is worth the asking price of 25$ so if it's on sale then it's a steal. I hope they do a 3rd game.
Fun game, I hope the make a part 3 someday.
I have no idea how to make a good game (also, can automated research please not start research that sends you unironically nine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ million dollars in debt PLEASE)
The mechanics are too complicated and the tutorial doesn't explain everything you need to know
It feels like an ultimate version of the good old Game Dev Tycoon. You might get confused by the constrained building rules that feel really silly (like each building can only have 1 corridor and each room can only have 1 entrance that must lead to said corridor). However, it gets really repetative once you get into 2000's - I'd say mostly because F2P & MMO games as feature feel really underbaked. Still a nice tycoon!
