Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 21 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An awesome military-themed turn-based tactics game, with lite RPG elements. This fourth entry of the Valkyria Chronicles franchise refines the gameplay formula and is a noticeable improvement, compared to the first game. It's not an easy game, especially on the final levels, and you practically must make mandatory use of Orders and specialized anti-tank or anti-personnel equipment or you'll get destroyed... especially against bosses which frankly, have too much HP, and they can be a bit annoying to fight. You'll face off against a certain boss a total of four times, which can be tiring. Like in the first game, you command and manage a platoon of soldiers. You pick and choose who you want to have from your available roster, who will be deployed on missions or remain in reserve. Each squaddie is unique, has their quirks and people they get along with (or not) which will assist/hinder you during missions. Take care of your squadmates, since they can permanently die if you don't rescue them in time when they are critically injured. The anime-like story can be a bit corny at times, but there are some really cool moments, especially near the end. The squad stories allow you to play side missions involving up to three of your squadmates as the protagonists, which gives them much needed characterization and will improve their stats (potentials) upon completion. They're tons of fun and will make you bond with your squaddies, which lack the spotlight in the main campaign. Overall, if you like turn-based tactical gameplay, it's recommended you pick it up, especially if it's on sale. Here's hoping for a sequel, or at least a remake of the third entry in the series.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Kinda goofy how VC4 loves to throw curve balls at you in pretty much every mission which can really ♥♥♥♥ you sideways if you aren't playing safe Not quite sure how to feel about being forced to play safe or be forced another lengthy restart of an already long battle Story is goofy so it might be a bit cringy if you aren't fond of the whole 'we can do it because of our friends' that's on repeat the whole time but otherwise decent premise and worldbuilding Otherwise game overall is aite I guess but kinda grindy
the gameplay is good but the trannylation is absolute dog water, its bad enough that im almost tempted to figure out how to run the jp subs through a machine translator to fix this cringe ass goofball ♥♥♥♥.

Valkyria Chronicles 4: Complete Edition delivers everything I enjoy about this series and then some. The art direction is outstanding, and the character designs are a major highlight. The art director clearly has a strong eye for creating memorable, appealing female characters, and that signature style adds a lot of charm and personality to the game. I genuinely hope future installments continue to embrace this level of creativity and visual flair. The amount of content packed into this edition is impressive. Beyond the main campaign and skirmishes, there are side stories, character‑focused missions, and additional stages that flesh out the world and give the cast more depth. It feels like a complete, generous package. Gameplay systems have also expanded in great ways. Outfit variations, deeper upgrade paths, and new support options—like ship abilities—give you more freedom to shape your squad and strategy. It’s satisfying to see not just your weapons and tank grow stronger, but your entire support structure evolve with you. One feature I truly appreciate is the ability to use optional assists and cheats. With a busy schedule, being able to play at my own pace turns the game into a perfect stress reliever. Sometimes it’s just nice to jump into a battlefield, charge forward, and enjoy the experience without pressure. Overall, Valkyria Chronicles 4: Complete Edition is polished, content‑rich, and incredibly enjoyable. I fully recommend it to both longtime fans and newcomers.
Very disappointing. Obnoxious tutorials every other mission. Enemy turns take too long. The characters aren't very good or very memorable, and the story is extremely repetitive - the first game is a lot better.
Please do the remakes of VC 2 and VC 3. Especially VC 3. No neeed to explain why :)
love the combat, love the story. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so annoying going from menu to menu and have someone comment on everything i do. Every single upgrade has your engineer popup and has to go WOW! go to the training field and your anime rival, greets you. talks when starting and ending the training process. It gets annoying.
