I overall found the game frustrating because of the name choosing system, and of of the plot points key to figuring out the names-body matches was just too messy. In general, I think this type of game does not work well when family members are involved (and shared surnames)
This is the kind of game I should enjoy, but didn't. I was swayed by reviews that said this game would be similar to Return of the Obra Dinn or The Roottrees are Dead, two of my all-time favourites. I didn't find this one anywhere near as much fun. I didn't find the deduction really logical. There's a supernatural element that makes deduction very difficult. I could not get into it without a walkthrough.

"Return of the Obra Dinn"-style mystery / detective game, requiring you to identify the dead people in an abandoned house, and then who killed them, with supernatural elements permeating the story. It did scratch the same investigative itch as Return of the Obra Dinn but is nowhere near as deep or challenging. By using context clues, notes left around the house and little vignettes into the past, in which you can see / hear (via speech bubbles, no actual recorded dialogue) a moment frozen in time, you reveal to each ghost the name of the person who killed them. There are some very clever clues but identifying each person is arguably harder than figuring out who killed whom. The ending is brief but quite satisfying. The game has a nice interface which makes navigating the game quite easy, including fast travel around the house. However, I found that I generally walked around anyway as it's not a huge space.
The atmosphere is excellent and it kept me going until the end. But many of the deduction points aren’t very logical, and it’s very hard to finish without a guide, which is frustrating.
Its an okay game. I thought it was going to be difficult and was for me until I found the one clue I was missing that filled in a ton of information. After you figure out the general situation, filling in the information becomes pretty simple. I think more of the difficulty for me came from trying to recognize the different characters in different scenes.
Really good Obra Dinn -esque game - takes a couple of hours, I love the plot. Recommended.
This game is an excellent puzzle, and the kind that overwhelms you with information at first, only for it to all start fitting together at once. It will take a while to figure out who any of the characters are, but once you get the hang of it they will all start to click into place. I enjoyed it a lot and loved the worldbuilding!
Short but captivating little deductive reasoning game. Easy to get tripped up with intermarriage, omitted names, and some paranormal goings on. It doesn't spell out the entire backstory and reasons for a deeper double crossing, though you can guess at motives... I thoroughly enjoyed the simple but elegant art style and touches of classical music. Very atmospheric. Looking forward to other projects by this dev.
Атмосферная игра, что затягивает с первых минут. Уже пройдя игру могу сказать, что расследование не супер сложное, однако в процессе приходилось поломать голову. Спасибо разработчикам за отличную игру и хорошую тренировку для мозга)
