Urban Jungle

Como amante de plantas e decoração, foi impossível não me apaixonar por esse jogo. Infelizmente, a experiência é bem curta se o objetivo for apenas jogar os capítulos sem se preocupar com troféus. Felizmente, o modo criativo prolonga bastante a diversão, já que podemos decorar os ambientes de cada capítulo com total liberdade e deixar a imaginação fluir. O que mais gostei é que ele não se resume a cumprir objetivos. Existe uma história por trás de tudo e, olhando para ela de uma maneira mais realista, é fácil perceber que muitas pessoas já passaram por situações parecidas com a da nossa personagem: ter um sonho e não receber apoio daqueles que amamos. Acompanhar o desenvolvimento dela foi, de fato, muito bonito. Os gráficos são lindos e aconchegantes, e combinam perfeitamente com a música e toda a direção de arte. Adorei poder brincar com as plantas e descobrir suas propriedades enquanto cumpria os objetivos principais e secundários. Acabei me dedicando a fazer todas as conquistas porque, para mim, foi impossível simplesmente largar o jogo depois de terminar os capítulos. Quando percebi, já estava querendo fazer tudo. Enfim, é um jogo lindo, delicado e muito gostoso de jogar. Merece muito ser apreciado. 🪴💧

Расслабляющая история девушки, чьи мечты были наполнены цветами, а не грандиозными планами её матери. Сюжет прост и уютен, в нём всё понятно и близко. Здесь цветок цветку не товарищ - каждое растение уникально и не желает просто стоять рядом. Удивительные зелёные, а иногда и не только, прихотливые обитатели горшочков. Геймплей предельно прост: расставляй цветы, поглаживай пузатого рыжика Руфуса или гавкающую Эсмеральду, дразни брата, очаровывай соседа-владельца кафе и снова возвращайся к цветам. Идеальная игра для тех моментов, когда хочется просто отдохнуть и не нагружать голову. Рекомендую. 9/10. Благодарю за то, что уделили время моему скромному мнению. Я не пишу подробные обзоры, а просто делюсь своим игровым опытом.

This cosy game has a nice concept in similar veins as Unpacking, with an added dimension of an added story and plant curation mechanics. However the potential is squandered by the very mechanics it adopts. Unlike unpacking where the rooms and items let you form the story based on your imagination, Urban Jungle lacks this dimension as the story is very much fleshed out and the sentimentality of the items presented are often superficial. The plant puzzler also is a bit frustrating as you generally have to balance three aspects of sunlight, water and combo needs which often ends up you just pilling everything in a tight niche corner making a mess for the sake of optimisation rather than creative or aesthetic placement. In the end you are just chasing objectives while also playing a superficial find the items in a messy room game. The mishmash of game elements, from packing and placement of items, plant collection and item hunting doesn't jive and ruins the cosy mood and midway the game play loop generally falls into a repetitive boring cycle which is uninspiring at best.

I agree, I don't like Monstera either. The game is very cute, but it just doesn't do it for me. The controls with keyboard and mouse. The plant addition to unpacking random items isn't really doing it for me. There are so many plants that need to be placed. It results in plants that are path blocking in my game. Or all in the same corner. You can only order from 4 types of plants at a time, so it's often, more plants for the sunlight or in humidity or both. And then some plants don't like other plants...

It doesn't start for me - it gets stuck on a blurry brown and green gradient after the logo splashes. This is apparently a known bug that people have reported for several months. I enjoyed the demo, it's a shame.

⭐ Urban Jungle, küçük bir evi bitkilerle doldurup her birini uygun yere yerleştirmeye çalıştığın sakin ve oldukça tatlı bir dekorasyon/bulmaca oyunu. İlk bakışta tamamen “cozy” bir oyun gibi görünse de, bitkilerin ışık, nem ve diğer bitkilerle olan ilişkilerine dikkat etmen gerektiği için işin içine hafif bir strateji de giriyor. En sevdiğim tarafı kesinlikle görsel tarzı ve atmosferi oldu. Renk paleti çok hoş, ortamlar sıcak ve bitkileri tek tek yerleştirip odanın giderek canlandığını görmek gerçekten keyifli. Oyunun seni acele ettirmemesi de bu hissi destekliyor; bir süre sonra sadece doğru puanı almaya değil, odanın gerçekten güzel görünmesine de uğraşmaya başlıyorsun. Bitki yerleştirme sistemi basit ama yeterince uğraştırıcı. Bazı bitkiler güneş isterken bazıları daha nemli alanlarda mutlu oluyor ve yan yana koyduğun bitkiler de puanı etkileyebiliyor. Yalnız bir noktadan sonra sistemin biraz fazla kolay çözülebildiğini hissettim. En yüksek puanı hedeflediğinde bazen estetikten çok lambaları, su kaynaklarını ve bitkileri en verimli şekilde bir araya getirmek daha mantıklı hâle geliyor. Bu da dekorasyon tarafıyla bulmaca tarafının zaman zaman birbirine ters düşmesine neden oluyor. Eşyaları yerleştirirken kontrollerin ara sıra biraz hantallaşması da küçük bir eksi. Özellikle bir şeyleri tam istediğin noktaya koymaya çalışırken birkaç kez uğraşman gerekebiliyor. Bunun dışında oyun oldukça rahat ilerliyor ve çok uzun olmadığı için tekrar hissi ciddi bir probleme dönüşmeden bitiyor. Hikâye tarafı sade ama sıcak. Büyük bir anlatı beklememek gerekiyor; daha çok odalar ve küçük detaylar üzerinden ilerleyen, oyunun genel rahatlatıcı havasına eşlik eden bir yapı var. Bence oyun zaten tam olarak bunu amaçlıyor. Sonuç olarak: Urban Jungle, bitkileri, düzenleme oyunlarını ve sakin bulmacaları sevenler için kısa ama oldukça keyifli bir deneyim. Mekanikleri çok derin değil ve yerleştirme sistemi biraz daha esnek olabilirmiş, fakat görsel tarzı ve rahatlatıcı atmosferi sayesinde oynaması gerçekten hoş. Benim puanım: 7/10

I had high hopes for Urban Jungle because I love plants, decorating, and light resource management. It wasn't exactly what I expected, but I was still pretty happy with what I got. I didn't come for the story, and the story is just alright, but it does a good job of giving the levels some structure. The pacing is solid. You start small, unlock more plants as you go, and everything you unlock gets added to creative mode. The levels are easy enough to pass, but they still take some time. If you're like me, you'll probably spend half of that time cleaning up and rearranging everything you can move before actually doing what you're supposed to. Overall, it's a pretty good game and I'm glad I bought it.
