Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

weak story, repetitive use of same old contrived puzzles...
It's okay. It's quite a bland, rather repetitive point-and-click. The plot is lacklustre, the voice acting is wooden and the graphics look straight from the 90s -- none of which is exactly a bad thing, since these are all kinda the hallmarks of a classic point-and-click/HOG for me at this point. A few of the objects (a bobby pin, some nails and a wooden shaft) blend a little too well into the background, to a point that it feels unfair. There's a lot of repetition of scenes, objects and puzzles -- in the first two acts you end up picking up the same bucket and taking it to the same well three times. There's a trio of colour matching puzzles back to back to back. It all feels quite limited and rudimentary. I do have to give points for the devs trying to match the setting with a bunch of Shakespearean style English -- all the sooths, prithees, pray tells and swounds were quite pleasing despite the sub-par voice acting. It's very short overall, and I can't really recommend it. All I can really say is it's not absolutely terrible and I didn't encounter any bugs playing it.

https://youtu.be/eHtusEojAvg Playing an undercover Monk solving mysteries is a rather compelling concept that is not what this game delivers on as you make soup and talk to ghosts in oddly undramatic ways.
Where Angels Cry is basically a hidden object game without hidden object puzzles. The game consists of finding items hidden all over the place and completing puzzles. There are a couple of good puzzles, a couple of decent ones and two or three bad ones - most notably a colour-matching puzzle with incorrect colours. The story is suitably cheesy but very very flimsy. You only see the antagonist at the very end, there's no interaction and he never speaks. Most of the interaction with NPCs is you doing jobs for them. There's also a guy who is supposed to help you but who can't even command his own men to let you pass... for some reason. Where Angels Cry completely lacks a map and i got stuck a couple of times because i didn't notice some small area on the floor i was supposed to click on. Overall it's a very slim offering in the casual puzzle genre and i wouldn't recommend it.
Pues bastante regulero, la verdad. Cortísimo, no llega a 2 horas.
This game failed to function twice on me. I'm giving up. First, I had collected 3 nails, and I put them into the horseshoe. I went to find the 4th, only to have the game refuse to let me use the 4th nail, meaning I could not advance further. I restarted the game, and this time when filling the pot I realized I was missing the watercress. I found it, went back, only to learn that now 3 of the flowers I put into the pot moments before had disappeared. Again, I could not advance any further without the items that somehow disappeared.
Truly, this game is proof of miracles. The year is 1286, and through the good workings of our Lord, tomatoes have arrived in the Alps centuries early! Provided this is Italy (they really aren't clear) tomatoes arrived in 1548. Why care about such a trivial detail? Because it's a period piece or supposed to be. As other reviewers have pointed out, this is not a hidden object adventure. This is a click and point fetch quest in the mysterious part of the Alps where a character may sound Russian, Italian, or maybe a bit of Bronx thrown in? There's even an Irish accent at one point, because hey, why not? It's honestly hard to believe this is the same studio that turned out the sequel. Here, apparently, you are investigating the loss of a brother of the unnamed order. Orders always have names, but not this one. Nor does this order have a patron saint, I'm just saying. Anyhoo, the wolves eated him up. Or he ran away. No one knows or seems to care, but the new boss man forbids a search. Hmmm. There is also a statue that supposedly weeps blood, I say supposedly because the dried blood looked like red paint. It's honestly puzzling if this game meant to be this funny but I'd say wait for a deep discount. For the learned men of their time I wouldn't trust any of these monks to read or write. They aren't exactly what I'd call the brightest and I feel more like I should be a sweet old gran investigating a ghastly murder in a tea parlor. If not for everyone starting to speak like ye olde Shakespeare in the park extras. Several centuries before his birth, I might add. As for gameplay itself? After a while it dawns on you there are no hidden object scenes and it's just a weary and uninspired slog where you go through each scene carefully with your pointer to pick up objects, some of which don't even appear on the screen. Many are in plain sight though. So it feels kind of lazy. Some puzzles solve themselves and most were frustrating variations of mini game standards. Taking it all in, I'll have to give it a thumbs down. It's one of those games I stubbornly completed just to see the ending. Then I stared at my screen wondering why I had to struggle through so much blandness to get to it. Oh, watch out for the collectible angel statues. Not for an award, but because the homely suckers need some love.
